Anyone ever run Hankook Dynapro MT RT03? I had a set of BFG KO2's on order, after 25 days I called Discount Tires and they said it was gonna be another 8 weeks :frusty:

I'm running 295/75/16, so it's kind of an odd size, in that size my only other good option in stock is the Hankooks, they offered to switch me to those for no extra charge. I'm not too concerned about it riding perfect, but it's gotta be able to balance out and not be deafening on the highway. I've always been a BFG guy, but I'm willing to try something new.

I've always been a BFG guy too.

Have you tried posting in the tires/wheels section?

I have a set but I have yet to put them on the truck.

My Set balanced on the machine just fine .

I have found with tread like this the noise gets worse about the time I would think about replacing them in most cases

I have a set of 31/10.50/15's. They're pretty quiet for a mud tire and they balanced good and stayed balanced. They have a lot of miles, years and abuse on them now, still smooth and not too noisy. The worst thing I can say about them is they're not good on hard packed snow.

Consider a set of Michelin LTXs if they come in the size you need.

Well I live in southern South Carolina, so snow’s not much of a concern, I think I’ll give these a try!

I don't think you'll be disappointed. Let us know what you think of them.

I went to DiscountTire and spoke to them in person, man I love that store! They were great. Honestly it was BFG that is all messed up. Long story short they offered me a great deal on Mickey Thompson Mud Terrains and I just couldn’t pass those up. Thanks for all the info, I was ready to buy the Hankooks, but went with the Mickeys!

I’m getting sick of buying bfg’s personally. America Tire always uses way too many weights and don’t like to use my lug centric adapter. Other tire companies need to make more sizes like 33’s & 35’s in pizza cutter 10.5 wide. I’m disgusted with tires that stick out of the wheel well and add rotational weight. Because of looks I wouldn’t run 12.5’s which screws me for options. Its nice to be able to turn lock to lock w/o touching frame. Damnit tire companies!!, are you even listening?, I mean customers are always right, lol, never. To BFG: get your heads out of your asses, their tires last 10k before they become very out of round and no amt of weight helps, I wanna create a class action! seriously, 1000 bucks for tires every time, just sucks.

I stopped buying those tires 25 years ago due to problems like the ones you describe. Some of them aren't tires, they're oversized footballs...

I couldn’t agree more, my Dad is a ol’ timey hot rodder and said even back in the day they sucked, but guys didn’t care then, way cheaper, and most bought them based solely on looks, fuck that! Five sets I’ve bought in twelve years and as soon as they are out of round they aren’t even close to worn out so I sell em on Craigslist for half what I bought em for. I’m sick of cleaning the tape off my powder coated rims and need good suggestions for 33/10.5/15’s these tires need balancing every couple months. BFG I’m sick of you :annoyed:and Michelin makes a good road tire but also makes BFG I’m told, :facepalm:so forget that company, because their truck tires look so lame, Michelin needs to make their own off-road tire under their name.
