    When I had it, I ran 40-42

EDIT: 265/65 or 265/70? ......... I had 265/70 and ran it at those PSIs listed

I have 40 cold in my 255/85/16 and the chalk test confirmed this is ideal.

Everyone's truck will be slightly different, driver weight, gesr, add on etc. What load rating are your tires?

Take some sidewalk chalk and Mark the treads of your tires, drive around, if it all wears off evenly your tire is inflated properly. If the center is worn but the sides remain covered you have too much, and if the sides are worn and the center remains you have too little.

On my 2nd gen, I ran mine at 32. I can always get down low and tell what the contact patch should look like. At 35 the entire tire wasn't touching the pavement.

this is good for traction. not always good for mileage or sidewall stiffness (think highway feedback), lower pressure makes the truck feel to wallow.

    i usually run 34-35 on my 265/70/17.

Cool, floating Tacoma just by over inflating tires. I bet David Blaine can’t do that.

    40PSI??!! One question: Why?

Keep it at low to mid 30's for regular driving.

I guess it does help MPG. But, above 30 i feel a hard ride. I have orig Toros. Even at 30 they seem to bounce when I hit a bump.
