I run this combo and have had trouble balancing them, have you had any problems with vibrations at freeway speeds due to the tire being a bit too small for the wheel? Thanks

    what aftermarket wheel?

    if aftermarket, is it hubcentric?

who did the balancing? some shops don't have the right attachment to get the balance right, Toyotas can present certain problems in that regard...

The wheel is a ProComp 7032 and its lug centric. I have had them balanced a few times and finally with the roadforce balancer and lug adapter and are okay just not as good as I feel they should. Wondering if the wheel being a bit big for the tire is a problem for others. Thanks

Wheel is too wide for the tire. This will make the ride harsher, as the sidewall is forced to stretch. Not sure what your lift situation is, but a 285+ is going to help a lot.

Balancing/out of round issues won't help. What kind of tire are you running?

HI- I believe you answered on my other thread as well, I want to see if anyone else was running anything like this and having any balancing problems.

The tires are BFG AT's. I'm hesitant to go with 285's because I only set my Bilstein 5100's at 1.75 for the leveling effect. I was trying to be conservative with 275's and 1.75 on alignment and didn't want the "bro" lean without doing anything in the back.

The tires really don't look stretched much. I drove it yesterday on the 15S and it was smooth but some portions of the 15N past Temecula are rough, do you think that is just due to the 10ply and wheel size and not balance?

I think so. If it's about tires/wheels, I try to be all over it.

You've got a lot of strain on those 10 plies. Not giving the already stiff sidewalls any room to "play" and smooth out your ride.

A rebalance might help, but my guess is that your ride is going to be pretty rough so long as you stick with that setup.
