Is there any actual function for wheels spacers or is it just for looks?

For guys with larger tires, or sometime with different wheels, or certain lifts, it's advantageous to run wheel spacers to gain some clearance to the truck fenders. Also, my understanding is the Pro wheels move the tires out 1/2" on each side, I assume for greater stability (?).

I needed a little clearance with the tires I’m running, I noticed the truck doesn’t roll as much in turns now too.

Bilstein 5100s front/rear, JBA uca’s, falken wildpeak at3w 285/75/16, 16” trd beadlock style wheels, spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers.
    I run 1.25 spidertrax on my 18 trd/or/dcsb

I’m lifted 2.5 up front and 2 rear same setup as you with bilstein/888s. Running 285/75/16 with jba uca’s

I still rub mostly in reverse at full lock left and right and sometimes at full lock going over bumps. Getting cmc job next week to fix this issue bc it’s really annoying lol

If anyone has a Lexus or Toyota car at home, I have some ALCOA Aircraft grade aluminum 10mm spaces which are custom made, and I am selling them all 4 for $150. + shipping. Asking less than half of what I paid for them. These aren't your cheap autozone spacers, these are single cast and machined high strength ones. I sold my car and don't have need for those. 5X114.3 bolt pattern.

Do installing these spacers require any adjustment to the vehicle alignement? Planing on doing a lift and wheel spacers, but not at the same time. So in wondering if I will need to do an alignment twice?

Are you only rubbing on the cab mount? I’ve already done a CMC and I still rub a tiny bit where the mud flaps used to be attached to.

3' ready lift, 285 feds, 2'' wheel spacer.
3'' lift with 2'' supreme suspension spacers. No real trimming, just a tiny piece of plastic on the cab side of fender that stuck out. Don't rub anymore, I was backing up and full turn goin up a little hill and It did do a little rub. Nothing major. But I also don't off road the thing

Yeah only rubbing on the cab mount. I only got spacers bc I would’ve rubbed the uca’s without them according to marlin from JBA

Did your nuts only screw on a few threads? Have you had any issue with this?

I decided not to install spacers just yet until I figure out what I’m going to do about the inner nuts.. I don’t like that they are only using like 3-4 threads

They sell extended lug nuts, just for what you are experiencing. The new extended lugs fit down inside spacer, grabs 8/9 threads. Just google it (wheel sparer extended lug nuts), Low Range offroad has them.

I used 1" spacers for awhile to solve a rubbing issue. I put BFG KO2 285/75/r16 tires on the stock wheels and had rubbing on the UCA at full right lock. The spacers were just cheapie flat ones the tire store ordered for me but they worked until I got the money to buy TRD Pro wheels. No rubbing with them. They have a different offset than the OR wheels so no spacers needed.

No, you do not need to do an additional alignment with spacers. They do adjust your track width and scrub radius, but neither are adjustable by an alignment. Bad alignment can be exacerbated by spacers though.

This was my main concern with spacers, I solved it with these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DLX519N/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 - I have over 10k miles on them and the spacers on that page, including offroading. No issues. I applied them to factory spec (I think 80 ft pounds?) with loc-tite. I checked them about a month ago when I rotated my tires, they were all still to spec.

Bora 1.5” hub centric w/ ET Spline lugs for my Method’s. Checking the torque after 550-ish miles driven. Zero movement from any of the lugs that come in the Bora Kit. Some will say it’s overkill but, I’ll be checking them again come summer and then again in winter. Not that I have any concerns, I’m actually very pleased with these spacers but, I do transport my 4 year old around and his safety is my top priority.
