I was thinking of mounting a camera on the roof or rear of my truck to view the bed and get a better view of the boat or trailers when towing…
Anyone mount a camera this way?
I was thinking of mounting it on or in the shark fin antenna. I believe its for the Sirius and factory nav only I don’t use either….or in the third brake light…I saw a small thread in that in a search on this.
I’m open to options and suggestions

    Why?

If your load is secured you don't need to watch it. Watch traffic.

    I don’t need a complete system.
My Stingray HEIGH 10 kit comes with 4 camera slots
My Taco only came with the rear back up camera and it looks awesome on the Stingers 10” screen.
I was thinking a camera mounted on or in the shark fin or third brake lite would be great.
I did find a thread in a search but it hadn’t been updated in over s year so I tried again.

I believe so yes…It has 4 camera inputs…Im only using the oem rear back up camera that came with the truck. I’d like to put a camera like I described in as well as a camera up front…I believe there is spot behind the pro grill. The dealer installed the pro grill when they installed the factory lift kit.

Hey OP just wondering if you’re still considering the brake light option.

This is my set up. It works fantastic. 3 cams and a rear view LCD. My rear cam is sitting in between the roof and the prinsu.

I have an extra camera mounted to my turtleback. I just have it hooked up to my garmin overlander so no wires or anything needed.

I love how easy and clean it works.
