    Recently installed icon coilovers and upper control arms and all was good until day 2, stared getting abs, traction control lights. I double checked the abs wires and they were good, I even disconnected them when I did the work to avoid damaging them. I replaced both abs wires in the wheel wells and still the same. I can reset it for a few hours by disconnecting the negative cable for a bit but it comes back on later. Can't even drive the truck, the abs system keeps trying to apply brakes and pops up with abs warnings on the screen and accelerator and brake depressed simultaneously warnings. Going into the dealer on Friday for a zero point calibration, I know the procedure for reserving it with the paperclip method but mines a 2020 and they removed one of the pins this year so you can't do it. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and if the calibration fixed it. Thanks

    It happens to a few people time to time. The reset of ZPC works.

    I appreciate it though, just trying to find some that had had it done by the dealer

    I had a run in with a deer that nailed my lower control arm and sent the steering wheel wonky. I tried to fix by way of tie rods and I got it back to the centered position and the alignment looked and felt perfect, drove perfectly straight with the slightest right pull which is normal. It drove perfect but I got the calibration problem, trac off lights, etc. I tried many, many times to zero point calibrate with no luck. Many times with the DIY instruction video following step by step. No dice. I drive a 2017 so it should have worked.
    Had to resign myself to the dealership. It was something like $75 bucks for them to calibrate and I had them do an alignment. Total cost was like $180ish. I hate it when I can't fix something myself, but those are the breaks sometimes.

    Well that makes me feel better because I just want to make sure it will work because I know the dealership will do it if I ask but if it doesn't fix it they don't just give you your money back lol and I miss my truck already

    They'll fix you up no problem, just at a premium, as dealers do.

    Hey man, I'm having the same problem after removing a spacer lift. ABS, VSC, and precollision lights are all on. Plus my truck is a manual and usually holds me on a hill for a couple seconds when I'm taking off but not anymore. Basically everything with automated braking got messed up. Just wondering if the zero point reset fixed your issues and how it all went.

    @Superdave1.0
    So I've never used a scanner before but if I wanted to buy a scanner and do it myself all I would need is to make sure it has an abs function and then clear the zero point calibration codes while the truck is on level ground with the wheel centered with accessory power on?

    And this wont just clear the dash lights but also turn the various systems back on?

    Should work. Can't speak for other brands. The Innova 5210 has done it, $99. Worse case you get a new scanner.
