So I got rid of my craptastic plastic bedliner a few weeks back, and I'm looking at an over the rail spray-in bedliner. Turns out the local Line-X guy voluntarily abandoned Line-X for a variety of reasons. He's instead turned to Bullet Liner (www.bulletliner.com) which he claims is a superior product. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for Saturday, but I was skeptical enough that I decided to stop by and look at some samples. The stuff seems sturdy enough, and it doesn't look any different that Line-X or Rhino. I'm just wondering if anyone has it in their pickup and what their opinions of it are. FWIW, the cost for me is going to be $385, which is "wholesale" pricing due to my affiliation. The owners words, not mine :D

Apparently not! I found something on an F-150 forum from a dealer in GA. Regardless, I'll let you guys know not only what the liner looks like but how it holds up, too.

"My name is Shane and I am the General Manager of Bullet Liner in Marietta, Ga. Just a little history on our product.

Bullet Liner is a product invented and produced by Claudio Burtin. He is the principal founder of Line-X. After he sold LineX corporation, and properly waited out a non-compete clause, he was then able to develop and launch Bullet Liner. There are some major differences between the two, mostly being the UV stability and gloss retention properties of Bullet Liner over LineX. Think of it this way. He made LineX over 2 decades ago, and now Bullet is a newer, more advanced product. Think how much technology has changed in the past 20 years! Bullet Liner is an all around better product for the applicator and the customer, trust me, I've been an applicator for more than 14 years. If you guys have any questions about the product, feel free to comment here, or shoot me an email at shane@bulletliner.com and I will accomodate you any way that I can."

Husky Floor Mats. Plastic center console divider. CoverKing Neoprene seat covers. Febreeze air freshener, the stick kind you put on the AC vent.
Well, how's it hold up? Any pics?

So, I got Shane at Bullet Liner in Marietta, GA to line the inside of my toolbox, it was oxidizing and that black aluminum junk was getting all over anything I put in it. They did a great job. The lining looks great, the texture is great, it doesn't seem to be as tacky as some spray-on liners. I'd highly recommend using these guys if you're in the metro-Atlanta area. It was also 40% cheaper than Rhino-liner or Linex. Give them a call: 678-354-9873.
