I'm in the market for a pair and came across some reasonably priced ones from Avid Offroad based out of Queen Creek. Any of you guys have experience with this company and the quality of their sliders?

Searching the forums doesn't bring up much and a lot of the product links appear to be dead.

They make bolt on slider and weld on sliders. You might have seen the steps option that doesn't bolt on to the frame. Give them a call or email they do tw discount

I'm asking about Avid Offroad because I came across a used like-new pair for $600. It does look like these ones are frame mounted.

I was looking at RCI for mine but, the lead time + shipping + required liftgate service =$$$$$

So, I bought local at SDHQ for only a bit more money, they had them in stock! Had a quality (zinc-rich primer + color) finish applied at Powdercoating Arizona in Avondale. Just got them back and they look outstanding!:bananadance:

Bolting on next weekend or so.

Turns out some do some don't, they make both versions. The one I found for sale are bolted to the frame. And for $600 sounds like a good deal.

Not like bolt to frame is really that great either. You really need hot-swapability that bad that'd you'd pay double?

Yup. Avid even installed 'em back in 2020. No complaints.

I can't seem to get ahold of these guys. Assuming the phone number on their website is correct I never get an answer.

Any of you guys know how much a set weighs without the top plate? I emailed them several days ago but they're really bad about getting back to you
