I've seen a few that are sporting theirs. What did you pay? (Model and any upgrades?)

Not much available yet for a long bed. I ordered a CX Classic with a front window, headliner, $2667

That's a good price. Here are the quotes I got. Leer/Century won't be available for about another month. Maybe I need to talk to another A.R.E dealer.

A.R.E. CX Evolve (Auto Trim Design Helena) $3170

    Windoor $230

    Total $3,400

A.R.E. CX Evolve (Blue Ribbon, Missoula) $3200 (all glass door)

    Windoor $235

    Total $3,435

A.R.E. V-Classic (Blue Ribbon, Missoula) $2600 (aluminum framed door)

    Windoor $235

    Total $2,835*

Century Ultra Sport (Auto Trim Design, Helena) $3,262

    Windoor $206

    Total $3,468

Centruy Ultra Sport (Red’s Towing Missoula) $2,600

    Windoor $185

    Total $2,785*

Leer 100XR (Auto Concepts, Helena) $2,815

    Windoor $269

    Total $3,084

    A.R.E. V-model (Big Sky Toppers, Butte) $2,799

    Windoor $279

    Total $3,080

Ordered one 2 weeks ago. It's Action branded because sold by Action Trucks, but made by A.R.E.

I'd like to see a pic of a cap on a 4th gen. The roof line on the back of the cab looks like getting a cap would be a challenge. Want to see how that looks

Here’s my black 3rd gen with my ARE shell if anyone wants to compare. Certainly a much different look on the 4th gen.

I think the shell on that black 4th gen up above looks great. The way they notched out the forward upper edge is pretty smooth. All the rest of that stuff on top of the roof looks a little silly though.

Thanks, I wanted to see how the front matched up with the cab.

Me as well, put down a grand and pulled the trigger, ought to be hear in a couple weeks. Was glad they handled it that way. Wonder how they did the wiring as the stop and turn are on the same circuit now.

Just got mine a week ago. I've been meaning to do a full review on it but an injured dog had me cooped up in the house. Overall, I'm kind of meh about it. I really like the way it looks but the build quality was a bit disappointing. Nothing horrible, just little things that shouldn't be things at all given the price.

I wish the rear window was closer to vertical and duplicate the overhang

Fiberglass shell quality has fallen off in the last five years. I think during Covid they realized they could make garbage and charge a fortune for it.

Anyone have the rear view/bed view camera that is considering a shell?

I have the rear/bed view camera and I currently have a shell. Lost all visibility for both the bed and rear view camera. Don't miss anything but the novelty of it. You still have a backup camera, it's tailgate mounted.

Good point. Do you have the 360 parking view? If so does it effect that?
