Love this pic. Looking between Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s and these new BFG Trail-Terrains. Size 255/75/17 - hoping to pick the tire that looks best and least balloon like since they seem to perform so similarly.

Thanks man. I can't believe the days I spent searching on and off the Web for this set. Wanted semi aggressive tread without crazy looking sidewalls. Here is a side shot. Hope it helps. Cheers

It doesn't help that neither Toyo nor tire dealers seem to distinguish the the LTs have slightly raised shoulder/sidewall protection, whereas P-metric look almost drawn on.

stock height or lifted? What size tire/rim? Thinking about getting these trail terrains as I'm on KO2 33's and returning my truck to stock-ish.

I put a set of the BFG Trail Terrain's on a 2012 Rav4 this past fall. I've got about 630' of loose stone drive with heavy snow drifting at times and they made a significant difference. Prior I was running a Tokohama all weather tire and would get stuck during a mild melt if the tires would hit stone.

I could munch though 6" of snow in 2WD without issues and would lock in the AWD for anything deeper. I now average about 24.5 MPG vs 25 MPG with most of the commute at 60 MPH.

I've got a 2022 OR Tacoma on order and will more than likely put the Trail Terrain's on it as well (I will give the OEM tires a shot first). My 15yr daughter gets the Rav4... much more comfortable knowing she'll have a decent tire for a few years while she's learning.

I thought this too. Wish the guy would respond. But pretty sure all Ray10s have always been -10 in 17", right?

265/70 R16. Approximately 2500 miles on them and they have been great.

Got my Trail Terrains installed today. I was a huge fan of the KO2s, but didn't want anything as aggressive and heavy on the new truck. First impressions are good. Smooth riding, very quiet. Cornering is nice and planted. Truck felt stiffer than the stock Toyo A30s, but noticed the shop put 35psi cold. I may bump down to 30 to see if it improves.

Looks perfect for what I'm going after. Very happy!

Discount tire service was good as usual. They removed the TPMS sensors from my old wheels and the wheels mounted quickly.

For reference, I've had the following tires on various Tacos, so have had a wide variety of experience on different types of tires.

    - C load BFG KO2s
    - Yokohama Geolandar G015
    - Michelin Defender LTX MS
    - Goodyear Wrangler Ultra Terrain AT

The trail terrains feels most similar to the Goodyear Ultra Terrains even though the Goodyear is more off road focused.

I put a set of these on mine in the stock size about 10k miles ago. I've been driving primarily Toyota 4x4's since 1991 and I have bought LOTS of tires. Lots of lifted trucks, lots of off road use. I am totally impressed with these. Granted this truck isn't used off road really but I drive over 100 miles a day in all sorts of weather. Love these. They look great, quiet, smooth, good in snow, good in rain, better cornering than a BFG AT by a big margin. If you don't do a bunch of off roading I would absolutely suggest these.

Are those 265/70r17, and if so, are you stock suspension, and have you encountered any rubbing?

Yes 265/70/17. Stock suspension when those pics were taken and no rubbing at all. I even have oem mud flaps.

I've put about 1000 milea on these tires and overall impression is really good. Quiet, smooth, and predictable. A great on road focused tire. I actually like them more than a set of Michelin Defenders I had on a previous vehicle.

I just got this setup installed last week. So far I love it. I. Gnna have todo some slight trimming until next year when I can afford to get the suspension I want. But other than that it’s amazing so far. A little bit more gear hunting obviously than stock but a throttle controller should help until re gear lmaooo
