Anyone Ever Make Center Console For Bench Seat?

Has anyone here ever made a console to work with their bench seat? getting tired of having nowhere to put my arm on long drives lol

Yes I did. I used a smaller pelican case and made a base for it that has some bars that slide between the upper and lower seat cushions and hook onto the lower seat so it can not easily be removed. I also upholstered a piece of foam with gray vinyls and secured it to the top so it is cushioned.

 

very nice, id like to do something like that, maybe just a little longer as in right up to the gear shifter area!

I find the size is perfect. The truck manuals for perfectly with tons of other room. Plus I can take it out and use the handle to carry it if I don't want to leave it in the truck.

 

I saw those but didn't want to waste the space on extra cup holders in my RC. I think it already has 6.

 

Perfect fit in my opinion. There is also a strap that fishes behind and under the seat and clips back to the bottom front for secure mounting if you choose to use it.

 

Hey Im looking to do something similar with an ammo case (instead of a pelican case). If Im understanding it right, you have some bars sliding in the crack of the seat to secure the base down, what are the bars hooked onto?

 

Swap to bucket seats, install centre console from an access cab or double cab and then install the storages bins from the double cabs behind your seat.
