Anyone ever buy a steel hardshell canopy off AliExpress?

Hi,

I'm mounting a roof top tent to my leer canopy and worried about weight issues. If it starts to crack (canopy I don't really care about) I was planning on buying a smart cap/ alu Cab steel modular canopy.

I seen some AliExpress ones pop up and wondering if anyone ever pulled the pin and decided to buy one from them.

I’ve heard plenty of people bashing them even though they don’t own one. They are all over FB Marketplace here in S.Ca.
