How well will it work on a 3rd Gen? Color Blazing Blue Pearl. Reviews seem good and a bottle is pretty cheap.

From what I've heard it's still a decent product but nothing special beyond it's cheap price. If I recall it's not an easy wipe on wipe off product which is NOT the case with most other products today. Most of them are very user friendly and will give you equal/better results. If you want something you can grab local look into Turtle Wax ice Seal and Shine, Meguair's Hybrid Ceramic Wax or Mother's CMX. These will be simple spray on wipe off on a clean vehicle for decent protection.

Should be dozens of youtube vids for any one of those products mentioned for more info.

I used NuShine on my 85 and 02 Tacoma for many many years (owned each 17yrs). It works very well and its durability is legendary. NuShine's main drawback is it stains black or dark plastic trim, turns a chalky white. I would tape off any plastic trim or rubber seals if you use it. And it is easy to apply, just apply thin coats.

On my 02, I switched to Meguiar's Ultimate wax and within a year the paint on the topper's roof started degrading.

I plan to use NuShine or might try Turtle Wax Ice on the roof of my new ARE shell where there is no plastic trim. For the price it still has a place in my collection of waxes and sealants.

In the following video test, around the 1:40 mark NuShine beat alot of the newer waxes/sealants:

Used Nu Finish for years. Love the stuff. I have tried many other products, but have always been disappointed, or at least unimpressed. Nu Finish is easy to use, lasts more than a year, and is inexpensive. Maybe there are products that will last a little longer, and shine a little better, but I'm going to wax my vehicles at least once a year anyway, and for the money and the ease of use, I'm not changing. $0.02.

More than a year? What kind of tests do you do to find this longevity? I know that this stuff is underrated, but I highly doubt it truly has a year of full protection on a daily driver. Most tests and comparisons between various products have nu finish longevity in the 2-4 month range

First, did you watch the longevity test video?
Also, I should have clarified. Lasts more than a year, in my experience. I only drive about 5000 miles per year, keep my cars in a garage when not in use, and use good quality car soap.

With that set of conditions any product will last a long time.

You could almost argue that no product is even needed. ;)

Nufinish will go a year if you apply it right and handwash only. I know cuz I used it for over 30yrs on 2 different vehicles.

Since it’s petroleum based it removes tar and oil.
