    Any good?

Not sure if they are better than the Firestone destination at, or the bfg at's??

Cant pull the trigger on tires!!!!!!!!!!! suffering from analysis paralysis........................

I live down a half mile dirt road is the woods but travel highway to work. I need the best of both worlds.....highway/at......

I dont have them personally but my brother just installed them (265/75/17 i think) on his first gen tacoma. He really likes them. They are quiet and provide good traction according to him. They also look really good as far as all terrain tires go.

Don't have the A/Ts, but the Open Country H/Ts and love them. Very smooth and quiet on the highway. The tread is designed to handle wet weather and dirt roads just fine as well.

I recently put on a set of the A/T's (not the AT2's though). A few days after install I did a week long trek up into Colorado. The tires were awesome both on the highways up and back and I was very impressed on the trails too. I ran mostly the intermediate trails with a few short runs on some more difficult rated stuff. I definitely don't regret getting these tires. I do like the AT2's a bit better just because of the added sidewall treatment. I'd say you can't go wrong with the Toyo's.

Very bad in ice and snow
I watched three trucks slide down a hill this year. They all had toyo tires. I helped the towing co pull them out from a 100 ft embankment. It was very funny listening to the three owners talk bad about their tires. The duratracs walked right up the hill without slipping once

My brother paid $982 for his at's two years ago. He put 35,000 miles on them and they are worn out. There are much better tires out there for the money. He did like the ride quality but he is going to revo 2's.
    He has a 03 chev 3/4 ton.
And he had three flat tires with them.

My dad just ordered a set for his 2012 last week and they are supposed to be getting mounted today. They look a lot like the Nitto Terra Grapplers and have a 65K mile warranty on them. I'll get some pictures of them on the truck this weekend.

I have the AT2's on mine and I love them. I don't deal with ice or snow living in AZ so I can't comment on that aspect.
I was told that they are warrantied for 50,000 and they will prorate if you don't get that mileage.

I heard it was 65,000. I looked it up and apparently P-metric are warrantied for 65,000 and LT's are warrantied for 50,000.

"Toyo's new Open Country A/T II is about beauty and brawn. An aggressive all terrrain tire with a tough, big shoulder appearance, and tenacious grip offroad - coupled with mild road manners and a quiet ride. The Open Country A/T II is backed by a 65,000 mile limited warranty on P Metric sizes, and a 50,000 mile warranty on LT sizes."

I had 45k on a set of toyo open country AT's on my old Colorado when I sold the truck. Hated the truck but loved the tires. They had plenty of life in them at the time I sold the truck.

They look like the nitto's because nitto's are toyo's older tech tires. It's what I heard from the manager at my local les Schwab.

Anyone have these tires in the stock 265/65/R17 size? What pressure do you run them at? I run 30psi based on the factory tire pressure but they always look low. Toyo's website says if the size matches the stock size then use the same pressure. Has anyone tested different pressures with the "Chalk test"?

I've had the AT's and AT2's on my 1st gen tundra. The AT's didn't last very long but did great in the summer, highway, gravel and dirt roads. Decent in snow and ice.

The AT2's lasted a little longer, and about the same highway, gravel, and dirt road performance. Not as good in the snow/ice (harder compound?).

Both sucked in mud (not a mud tire, duh)

I wish you could get the AT2 Extreme's in smaller sizes, they look like they would be a really decent tire.

I've got a set of ATII's in 265/75/16 and love them. Just had them in nasty conditions in the Sierras, these tires rocked in the snow/slush. Highly recommend these. Way better than the BFG's that I used to have.

Toyo AT2's are much more well built tire than most, the BFG's have lots of balance issues where the AT2's I rarely have to rebalance. It's a solid reliable tire, it costs more but it's worth it.

Interesting. I'm considering going back to the BFG AT (KO2's). I had the KO's and I remember them not doing so hot in the winter. Was hoping the KO2's would be better.

I like my AT2s. I can only compare them with the AT Revos I had before, Revos had a little better grip on dry and wet conditions and were slightly quieter, but AT2s are wearing better and seem like they are going to last longer, they also look better imo.

Got them on the wife's 4Runner. I'll probably get them on my Tacoma next. They're great tires and not outrageously priced. Very quiet on the road and smooth. I'm not convinced they're good snow tires though. My snow driving is limited so my input on that isn't solid.
