Has anyone swapped the factory seat out for any of the Scheel-man seats in their 3rd gen? I know they are super expensive but the stock seat is just so terrible I’m considering it.
If you have any first hand experience with the Scheel-Mann I’d love to hear your feedback, was it worth the cost, are they much more comfortable?

My friend loves his. Not in a 3rd gen, but in his land cruisers.

I’ve read through that thread @usmc2msu and it certainly was a spirited discussion but mainly from the manufacturer and folks that were thinking about purchasing. I haven’t found too many people that actually have installed in a Tacoma so wanted to throw it out there.
I’m curious what people think after having them for a while, did they feel the cost/benefit was there.

Thanks @eurowner for the classic “Let me google that for you” AKA “google f***ing exists” response lol

I get it, use the search bar, done and done, trying to start a dialogue with someone who wants to share their experience with this expensive and niche product for my particular generation truck. Some good info on 2nd gen swaps but not so much for 3rd gen utilizing the Stacked mounting kits

    Happy Friday! :fistbump:

I am also researching as I need to have the whole seat lower than the stock seat.

That’s why my 6’4” friend got the Scheelman seats… he won’t fit otherwise unless he wants his head on the headliner.

I have a Scheel-Mann drivers seat in my 2nd gen. It's the Vario F, with 14 way adjustability. Definitely a game changer for me, I was having trouble getting out and having fun because driving was so uncomfortable.

Was it seating position, quality of seat or are you a bigger person?

Seating position and quality of seat. It's very adjustable and firm, which I like.

Glad to hear it was a good fit for your rig, has it resolved the issues you had so you can get out and play with the truck? How long have you been using it now?

It's fixed my issues with my back, haven't been able to camp as much as I'd like because of some surgeries but I can drive 6-12 hours and still be able to walk around once I stop... :)

I've had it installed since summer 2020. I'd like to get a seat cover for it but haven't got one yet.
