I want to keep my longboard in the cab preferably to ride every now and then when traveling. Wanted to see if any kind of mount or someone’s clever inventive system to make this possible is available.

What kind of cab? But I would think this would work in any cab. Try placing the board behind the passenger front seat vertically with the top of deck against the back of the seat and use a bungie or strap around the head rest bars.

Haven't done it but I've thought about keeping mine on the floor between the front & rear seats, and cutting 2 pieces of 2x8 or 2x10 into an upside down V shape, with a notch cut vertically from the peak for the board to drop into on its side. Keeps the grip from ruining the seats, keeps the board from rolling around, etc. Just have to take the center floor hump into account. The upside down V shape keeps it from flipping forward or backward if you start/stop hard.

As a kid I used to keep a towel in my car all the time and I'd drop my board upside down on the towel so the grip wouldn't ruin seats or rug. Also always had a towel to dry sweat with.

I store mine in the living room by coffee table (never know when you might need to bail and carve up some street)
I transport it by putting it in the bed grip down on the bedmat.....it moves not, like and upside down turtle - stays there til you move it.
I mount it by placing it grip side up/ wheels down on the ground, right foot in the middle left foot pushing then in front of right foot when cruising............

    and this thread needs pics...........

Get a long bed and just throw the board in the back.

Obligatory old potato photo of the day I built the deck…

Grip is transparent on reverse side.

Don’t know if you have a sunroof or not, it’d probably fit much easier on the non-sunroof rack.

Deck is about 30”. Could probably make a long boi work on one of these wheels up or with spacer blocks between the panel and grip to avoid the bumps in the ceiling on either side of the rack. This model is sort of recessed into the roof.
Check other parts sites for Meso racks. I forget where I found mine but it was mid roof-molle drought and price was comparable to meso’s site

    Nice!

I also store my longboard in the back grip-down on the mat, typically.
(Have cap so it won’t decapitate anyone in case of a tumble)

I often have a few more when the boys bring theirs…
    Could likely fit a dozen!

tonneau on mine so it isn't grabbable or loose to fly out.....somehow. The headliner hangin might be OK for the ramp/pool/park board but looks short for longboards nearing or over 40".....mine is 42" so seems like it would touch each window, lol......and my head for that matter since I have RC.
