Well I'm looking to buy some headlight because mine are almost 16 years old, so what are your thoughts opinions on spyder headlights? Good or keep looking in the market? Are there better headlights sold here on TW? I have a 2000 Tacoma.

Most people poo poo anything aftermarket. Unless there are retro' done in them. I have my eye on a pair that car id is selling for the 2nd gen but they are not supposed to come out until next year. At $300 I need to know they are good headlights before I drop that much cash. Hopefully someone with some Spyder headlight experience can share.

Are you speaking of the projector with led drl type? Or oe style? Either way, it would be better if you got a oe replacement housing and did a retro in them. You can probly get the housings fairly cheap. And projectors will be on sale black Friday I bet. For a little more than buying the spyder projectors. And you'll have a much more reliable and brighter output than those cheapos will ever produce. Idk from experience, but I'd bet on it. They typically aren't that great. In output as well as quality of plastics/parts/clear coat/seal. They might last you a couple years if that depending on weather where you're at. Sometimes you get a good pair from the batch, most times not. Maybe you'll get lucky. That or replace them if a warranty is offered. Honestly it's just not worth the risk imo. Do it right and do it once. I would look into reviews of good quality oe replacements from those that have the 97-00 type like yours. I also think its funny the 97-00 offer projectors by sypder, but not for the 01-04.. I've gone through two sets of the 1 piece for the 01-04 with retros. And have a third set ready with new projectors sitting in storage, but anxious togo through it all again. One more shot, then I'm going with oe type 2 piece replacements with retros.

Edit: If you're considering retros, and are not a diy person (although it's not all that hard) hit up @LSC15 . He sells completed units and offers options of your choosing. Great work. Those are probly THE best headlights you can get for your truck. But they ain't cheap. But are def worth it in the long run.
