I’m getting some P255/75R17 Defender M/S installed tomorrow. Definitely looking forward to going up a size so my 3” front/2” rear lift looks a little more fitting.

I’ll use A/T or M/T tires if someone buys them for me. If it’s my money on the line, I’ll buy what fits my use case best. The 85k mile projected treadlife (~106k miles with a fullsize spare in rotation) of the Defender LTX M/S is a huge bonus. Plus, they seem to hold their own well enough offroad:

I’ll take better pics tomorrow. No meaningful updates, as I only have like 10 miles on them.

I run the LTX AT2. But I run 17” SCS Ray 10 wheels. The tires are 265/65/17. They were on my 2015 Tacoma. They might be mounted on a 2021 OR next week if I buy it today.

I also run the Michelin LTX AT2 265/70/17 on my 4Runner.

Excellent in rain. I have not been on ice or snow with them. My vehicles are on pavement 99% of the time, but they sure look dirt capable.

I've got the Michelins on my truck but the site I used for free image hosting is no longer available.
Can anyone recommend a good site for image hosting?? I'll then post up some images

A little late but here you go. 265/75/16. These are the e load. A little heavier.

Has anyone tried the Kumho Crugen HT51? They get some really good reviews, and on the 3 sites that I've looked on, they gotten slightly better customer reviews than the Michelin. And even though price isn't an object, they're about $70.00 less than the Defenders and have a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty.

367BA5B8-965A-4F0B-9E61-651BC9FC11BE.jpg These might be the ms2s but same thing. My profile has an almost side view as well. E load helps with sharp rocks and prevented a few flats in construction zones. Lt is a little harsh but still a good ride. They may have caused the front wheel hubs to wear out early. Great tire over all. Cant go wrong

My Michelin Defenders in 265/75-16 worked exceptionally well off-road. I drove the entire Colorado BDR (about 800 miles all off-road across Colorado) Ran a them at ~14 PSI..

Don't have the michelin ltx on my OR.. but I've had them on a rav4 and a my dodge cummins. Great tire for street and gravel roads.. they last forever, ride great and balance true. Performed great in spokane snow while I was up there. Would be among my first choice for a street truck or light gravel roads to camp grounds etc. Got over 100k on them on my diesel truck and over 100k on them on my rav4.

I’ve had excellent performance from the 265 defenders m/s on both my Tacoma’s.

Light off-road, rain, snow, beach and fantastic ride on the highway.

appreciate the low road noise and straight tracking.

ran LTX m/s before that for over 70k miles until a puncture retired them. Still had tread

265/75-16 on TRD wheels. Great all-around tire. Very quiet and smoother than the Goodyears that came on truck.
I live in South Dakota and they work well in the snow
