Has anybody had any electrical issues after installing interior LED lights? At the dealer, I was told that it could possibly damage the computer. That sounds like bullshit to me but just wanted to check with the community.

I'd say ditto on "that sounds like bullshit to me" since these are not CANbus vehicles an LED bulb will only decrease the amount of electrical load on the electrical system. I've replaced all of my exterior bulbs with LEDs except low/high headlamps and fog lamps but they will eventually be replaced as well. Just DO IT!

No issues. I've got LED lights in my interior (map, vanity, and dome.) License plate lights are LED. Also put OPT-7 LED's in my fogs. No issues whatsoever and bright white light! No yellow crap!

Some people have had issues with blown fuses. Make sure the lights are off when you are switching over to LED lights. The LED lights are also polarity sensitive. So if they don't work, remove them then flip them around 180 degrees.

+1 on blown fuses. I blew a fuse, replaced it and haven't had any issues since. It's an excellent cheap mod and my tired eyes welcome the brighter light.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I called superbrightleds and they recommended CAN Bus LED bulbs so that if bulb goes out it will notify you on the dash panel. Any thoughts? Thanks again.

How much are they going to charge you for them?I've had good success with these and they're pretty cheap: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B019JAQJJC/

Been driving with them for about 3 weeks without an issue (no bulb out notifications and no bulbs going out), currently on a road trip to FL so they're getting a workout.

I just hate seeing someone pay more for something when they don't have to :)

Ditto^^^ Those Amazon bulbs are great. Nice bright white and I've had mine for a month or so. No issues whatsoever.

    all tore up already
Did all interior lights and only issues were installing bulbs backwards. There was no way to tell. if it doesnt light up, it works when you turn it 180. i think it was my dome light that popped a fuse.

Yep, I've done all my interior lights with LEDs as well as the license plate lights. The fogs and headlights are next!! :bananadance:
