I have a bone stock 2019 trd sport,I'm looking to go from the 265/65r17 tires that are on the truck now to a 265/70r17.from what i have found out the 70's are about an inch taller. My question is would I have any problems with tires rubbing

Oh yeah, this was recently asked for the Sport 17" wheels as well as the OR 16".

But in this instance, the 17s limit is 265/70 without making any changes.

    A resounding "no" was answered...

No problem, and you could also go up to a 33" with a 255/80/17 without rubbing.

Yes they are about 1" larger dia, but you only get 1/2 that in ground clearance or proximity to the body parts surrounding your tires.

You'll get a bit more 'non-sport' ride (softer) due to the bit more sidewall.

Bone stock 2020 TRD Sport 4X4 as well. Ordered a set of 4 Toyo Open county AT/3’s one size up. 265/70r17 All my searching was the same result that going up one size was no problem. That also meant being able to keep mud flaps and front air dam. Spare tire I was going to of course change to the larger size but a use a cheaper no name brand to save a few bucks. Just rotate the 4 Toyo’s. My tires arrive in about a week.
