Any help/tips installing these wheel center caps

They seem nearly impossible to put on & I dont want to break any tabs any tips/tricks?

 

mine come in Sunday....supposed to pop right on???

 

Wish that was the case, feels like they are doing damage to the wheel each time i try to put them ondoesnt help that its cold as hell outside

Your suppose to take the wheel off , take the ring off , install cap and resecure the lock ring

Ive had them sitting in a box for a while now, just now getting to install them heard they are on backorder now

Even taking the ring off feels like all clips are going to brake was it like that for u?

 

Does anyone seriously know how to install these center caps??

 

Just ended up slamming them on broke a few clips but they are sturdy, even the dealer couldn’t put them back on after a tire rotation

 

My trick is to put a side onto the rim and then with your fingers in the lug nut opening "squeeze" the cap and seat it in a circular fashion instead of just slapping it in the middle like other caps like being installed

 

Thank you Sir, this did the trick. They key is be patient and take your time. I was able to do it without breaking not one wheel cap.

 

I'm proud of your... I sacrificed one of my caps when I first got the truck learning that one

 

I apologize if this question has been asked but does these wheels come in 17” and fit over the flange on the rear axle without modifications?

I really like the wheels but want them in 17” to fit my 2023 TRD Sport.
