I am very disappointed with the Sylvania ZXE's. Not happy with the light output. I will most likely get the PIAAs once mine burn out.

I have the zxe for right now and happy with them. Great light out put without blinding people.

Put Crystal Vision's in my girlfriends Sonata... Not really any difference at all over stock.

VisionX on Amazon....... They have not failed me yet, over 2 years on the fogs and headlights. They work really well with the bi-xenon setup on the tacos

http://store.candlepower.com/64205.html (out of stock at the moment but they're also available at Daniel Stern Lighting.

Best replacement bulb I've tried. Brighter than the phillips xtremes. I'm totally satisfied with them. They are a little higher wattage than stock but the Tacoma wiring has been proven stout enough to handle higher wattages.

I live out in the desert with no street lights and these have been worth every penny.

    I have a 2013 Tacoma.

At work I put in a ZXE one night to compare. Hardly a difference.

The main market for a brighter bulb is to replace old worn ones that are dim. Most people don't know just putting in a standard one to replace a 3 year old standard one its actually going to look brighter.

They tell you right on the back of sylvanias they are comparing the brightness of the zxe/silverstar ultra/silverstar to a standard bulb at 80% output.

Not a fan, can't wait until I can retrofit these lights some day

I've tried the silverstar ultra in my 03 Tiburon and didn't notice much of a difference over stock. Not worth the money IMO.
