What'd the consensus on inserting an anti-siphon "spring", such as the Gas Bandit Blocker, into the filler neck? I had something like it in the 70's but don't recall much about it other than never being siphoned. On the downside, it is permanent and can't be removed once installed.

Crack heads don't siphon gas anymore they just drill a hole in your gas tank. If you're concerned an aluminum gas tank skid might be enough of a deterrent.

With the price rise of commodities, catalytic converter thefts will rise. :jerkoff:

I'd probably do the locking gas cap before the anti syphon

Am I wrong in assuming that the car already comes with an anti-siphon? I honestly thought it did.

Relocated the fuel filler neck to inside the bed and disguise it as a log. Then put a switch operated pepper spray in the normal fuel door. They open the fuel door... boom.. pocket sand!

Like others have said... No one really siphons gas.

A blocker costs half a tank of gas or maybe a little less.

I know prices are going up, and this could change, but how often do you or those you know find your gas siphoned?

You're right they will just drill a hole in your gas tank now.

I have a locking gas cap for peace of mind. I live in the projects and there is allot of jealous fother muckers that live here. Keeps them from putting something in the tank was my biggest reason for the locking cap.
