I am generally a Spidertrax customer for spacers, but I saw these. They look beefy, got good reviews and are 80 bucks cheaper. Anyone have any experience with them they can share?

How about the spidertrax? Opinions? The last set I bought for a jeep are still holding up after many miles off road now. I did have one problem with the soft metal lug nuts they sent. I Ended up having to buy another set of outer lugs and inner nuts for one of them because a few cross threaded easily. My fault... but they crossed up with such little effort.

Those wheels spacers or wheel spacers in general?

I am venturing to say that most spacers are just machined hunks of aluminum made in China. Just go with whatever brand offers hubcentric option in the size you need and correct bolts/studs.

Spacers, IMO, are a last resort option to correct rubbing issues and a bad way to increase track width. They cause increased wear on bearings and other components and can cause problems down the road (vibrations, etc).

Lower offset wheels are what you need.

Yes. I'm expecting some PSAs to be posted about them. I'm aware of the concerns about safety and wheel bearings. I'm a long time spacer user on my jeep. Just looking for info on these vs Spidertrax. Thank you though! I appreciate the concern.

    Those

They don't even list the grade of aluminum

I have bora spacers and don't regret spending the extra

    Not true

It matters what grade the aluminum is. Bora and spidertrax list the grade. These dont. Gotta make you wonder...

In the olden days wheel spacers or adapters were always a big no-no , but with the new materials and machining techniques today they are now acceptable but stick with a name brand that lists quality of metal they used . it's a small price to pay. I'm a spidertrax man myself.

I have the supreme suspension 1.5 inch hubcentric spacers and haven't had any problems what so ever I wouldn't go over a 1.5 or 2 inch spacer though for wheel bearings sake, I put some Loctite on the lugs just to make sure the spacer doesn't loosen tightened the wheel lugs down good and boom I'm rollin, it gave me some stance til I get rims in the fall plus it stopped the rubbing of my UCA with my tires "275/70/17"

BORA or Spidertrax, I wouldn't try to save $80 on a 40k truck.

In the motorcycling community there's a saying, "$20 helmet for a $20 head."

These spaces sound a lot like a $20 helmet.

They work fine but on the rear the threads were a little short for comfort so I got longer studs to install on the axle. That's another $25-30 and a little effort to install. Not hard work at all but it should be done for piece of mind. The quality of the spacers are pretty good actually. Whatever you do, don't put loctite or anything else on it to keep it from coming loose, totally unnecessary.

I have 1.25" Spidertrax in the back. They are made in the USA with 6061T6 Aluminum (Aircraft grade) and are wheel & hub centric. I have no vibrations, no complaints, the whole assembly feels solid.

I wouldn't look to cut costs with things that mount your wheels to your truck. $80 is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Don't do it. Go with Spidertrax or BORA. The difference in quality and potential for failure is much more than $80
