    I am looking for an aluminum Molle panel for the rear of the cab (2012 Double Cab). I PM'ed the guy (Nat) that had been making them but got no response. Does anyone know of another source or am I better off having a metal fabrication shop custom build one ?

    Thank you in advance for any information that can be provided.

    image.jpg I contacted a local (metro Atlanta, Georgia) metal fabrication company today to inquire about producing these panels. I provided pictures and rough measurements so I could get an accurate estimate. The owner of the company advised that he would put together an estimate and let me know. Ofcourse, the more panels he produces, the less expensive each one will be. He said he would take his own measurements prior to production to insure proper fit. He also offered to paint or powder coat for an additional charge. Once I have more information, I will post the details.

    A cheaper DIY option if you're interested; A 20x48 closet shelf. Gives some more freedom for larger bungees/etc. Used factory hardware.

    i contacted a local (metro Atlanta, Georgia) metal fabrication company and provided specifications and pictures of what I wanted. This company never responded so they obviously are not interested in the business so I found another company out of North Carolina. This company/person makes/fabricates the same type panels for Jeeps and the reviews I have read are good. I provided specifications and pictures. This person did respond and stated that he was interested and would contact me with all of the necessary details (price, time, etc.). I hope to hear something further this week. I will post more details as they become available.

    Another possible option is a wire shelving unit I found on Grainger's website. While it would not look as good as the aluminum Molle panel and may not be as functional or heavy duty, it still could possibly work. The measurements are right (48" x 24"). It is less expensive that what I am expecting the aluminum Molle panel to be. Here is a link to what I found on Grainger.

    http://m.grainger.com/mobile/product/METRO-Green-Grid-8DUE5?fc=MWP2IDP2PCP

    If the estimate I get from the company/person in North Carolina is too high, I may try that option.

    He's not telling the world its for sale, just offering the OP... put the ruler away, please sister.

    Anyway, pics from photobucket since google photos is temperamental for many users. Here's a $13 solution thats 100% as effective (and rubber coated to boot);

    This, I will not do. But it's your pig, and it's your farm.

    The bars go the wrong way as well.

    Looking at your build thread - sweet rig. You've got thousands sunk, so I dont blame you for wanting something fit and finished. For me, the cheap rack is just as functional for firmly holding (read: no rattles) all my recovery and pet gear, and no one ever see's it so I really dont mind the cheap solution.

    I'll pony up for the mods that matter, but not here.

    Thanks, man.

    Good point on the $$$. Makes sense to me. I found a place that will make a MOLLE panel mount (similar to the back seat mounts) to size. I think they make the panels for gun safes as well. Then I'll mount that to a sound proofed aluminum panel behind the seat. It'll save on all the laser cut fab work.

    I'll take my time and do it right like I do with all my other mods (I hope!).

    Cheers!
