    Hey All,
Looking for some help to source an aluminum front bumper that can hold a winch. I like the Victory 4x4 Blitz, however, can substantiate spending $1179+Tax. Do you all know of any other brands that follow this criteria:

    1. Made of aluminum
    2. Minimal to no Bumper cutting
    3. Allows TSS sensors to continue working

I have searched on TW, however, searching “front bumper” or “winch bumper” didn’t yield many brands that I can consider. Thanks for any help!

Oh please post photos of your rig as well if you have one installed. That would definitely help in making my decision. Thanks again!

Jumping in for any other options as well. I’m in the same boat, looking for lightweight, minimal cutting and cost effective. All pro off road has a good aluminum option that is right at 1,000 but I haven’t seen much else and I’ve spent hours searching. Looks like it’s currently on sale though!

Yeah I saw that one too and it looks to be on sale but requires cutting like all the other brands I’ve encountered. The victory only needs cutting right above the air dam but not into the actual top of the bumper.

Yeah it’s looking that way, I’m so surprised there really aren’t any manufacturers that offer a less invasive option.

If all you are looking for is to mount a winch there are some companies that make winch mounts that fit inside the stock bumper where all you need to do is cut a hole for the fairlead.
Or there are ways to mount a receiver hitch behind the stock bumper and just use a winch mounted on a plate. The plus side to that is you can winch backwards since you can mount it in front or back, and you can store the winch inside and protect it from the elements.

I'm going in the direction of full front bumper, R4T makes cap inserts so there is not much cutting at all, and to get the best deal on bumpers, or anything for that matter, Black Friday!! BAMF makes nice bumpers!! Guess I have about 8 months to go :)

To the OP, is steel a deal breaker?

SSO makes a good looking bumper, also breaks your #2, however there was basically a cut line where two existing plastic pieces met on my truck but I’ll admit- I probably measured about 8 times before cutting once.

Looks like the price has gone up a bit, I paid around $800.

Not my truck in the pic, but will get you some of mine if you’d like.

To be completely honest steel is a secondary option and I’m not completely opposed to it. I do like the style of the bumper with the hidden winch option. I want it really to look somewhat minimal but have the functionality of the winch and tow hooks.

I would definitely like to see your photos also.

I haven't looked into it lately, but SSO recently got bought out and there were a bunch of prepaid customers left in limbo. Be sure to do your research before dropping your coin on their products.

I’m aware of the change in ownership, but from what it reads like (they are updating on here), the new owners are making customers whole after the original owners bailed. Based on that, if they continue to act that way, I’m giving them a chance- and really like the slimline front bumper I got and will order a rear from them before long.

That said, I understand your position 100% and agree- do your research.

Good to hear. I have their slimline (ordered back in 2018) and it's been fantastic. Well made, looks great, and performs as advertised. I hope the new owners carry that on.

It appears they are so far, I’m trying to keep up as I really like their rear also.
Found out the hard way my rear bumper is made of plastic!!

This is from RCI site. Does the bumper bow from side to side like this picture makes it look, or is it straight and a shit picture?

If straight, good looking bumper and I’ll reconsider the SSO.

    Thanks.
