I've been looking around for aluminum bumpers and have found a few builders but am curious what others that have gone that route have learned.

    Any recommendations?

Surely someone has to have some input?

Was just looking at Backwoods adventure mods steel/aluminum bumpers that look like a good way to go.

We make aluminum bumpers for every model except Tundra. We actually have a couple 2016-2021 Tacoma aluminum bumpers in-stock. Here are a couple pics

That's an impressive looking structure. What is the price point on these? I assume they are all uncoated, bare aluminum?

We do bare-metal and powder coated.

We do steel as well, also notice that our shackles are one piece design that go through the bumper and tie into the whole structure, not just welded to the front of the bumper.

Good looking bumper! I'm also in the market. Any plans on doing rear high clearance bumpers?

I bought my sliders from them. They’re awesome, get asked about them all the time. Shipping took awhile. 3-4 months, but they have good communication, always able to talk to someone. I would highly recommend. I’ve installed them originally on my trd off-road and transferred them to my trd pro. No issues with install.

I have the Dissent bumper and am really happy with it. I am not sure if the Tacoma version is still available though. He has been a lot of Land cruisers. You might give him a call

I'm running the Victory 4x4 strike in aluminum. Went with them because they are semi close so I could pick it up and avoid shipping. Reasonablely well built.

The design concerns me a bit(shackle welded on front) havent used it for recovery yet, just installed a couple weeks ago. So time will tell

That is such a clean looking bumper. Definitely marking it down as a possibility on my mod list, but still leaning towards steel. Yours looks great though!
