Yea unfortunately it's all I got, might call a fabricator up. When you cut it did it cut into the slots? Just noticing how thin the metal is there

I left about a 2-3mm above the slots....take into account the blade thickness and align the cut right. I used a piece of painters tape for the cut line. I'll snap a pic when I get home.

As a follow up (not sure if you've addressed this already or not), that would be a no. The older racks came with 5/16-18 x 1" bolts instead of the 1/4" hardware. Makes it a bit of a pain for those of us with the older rack trying to update to the 1x2 crossbars that now use 1/4" hardware. I was having trouble with the slots in the side rails being too large to accept the 1/4" bolt without significantly deforming the washer and me questioning the integrity of that setup. I still haven't figure out a good solution as it looks like tslots doesn't offer 5/16" thread and tap with the 1x2 crossbar and I'm not even sure there's enough material there to bore out the hole and tap for 5/16".

it looks like the cross bars used in the old Prinsu racks utilized the larger 15-Series t-slot (specifically the 15-Series 0.75x1") verses the 10-Series used now...see the 15-Series here starting on page 28: http://www.tslots.com/catalog/?page=28.

You may be able to utilize the 1.5x3 15-series T-slots here on page 42: http://www.tslots.com/catalog/?page=42 but unsure if the dimensions of it will fit the rack right. OR utilize the 0.75x3" 15 Series to get something similar in height to what you have now: http://www.tslots.com/catalog/?page=30

The other thing you can do is to get a thicker and/or higher grade (i.e. stronger) washer that won't deform when utilizing 1/4-20x1" on the 10-series. You can also try stacking 2 (or even 3) existing type washers together to prevent the deformation. I personally would go the thicker/strong washer route and McMaster has plenty of 1/4 washers to choose from that are both thicker and stronger (sort on the thickness field): https://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-washers/=18s65y0

At full price yes, but I was able to get 2 of the 6 pack mounts set on Amazon Warehouse at a significantly reduced price. I kept 8 of them and sold 4 to my brother who also has a TopTac. Prinus also refunded the cost of the 4 mounts he sent me with the Toprac given how poorly they fit...Zach is a stand up guy. So all in all I wasn't out that much to add these new mounts.

I did not use any pads.

I've found Prinsu's customer service to be really good of late, and just bought another rack from them. Anyways, here's a alternate source for extra crossbars for cabracks you can get within just a few days from TNutz:

    Clear anodized:

    https://www.tnutz.com/product/ex-10...tted-aluminum-extrusion-for-prinsu-roof-rack/

    Black anodized:

    https://www.tnutz.com/product/ex-10...tted-aluminum-extrusion-for-prinsu-roof-rack/

You can also enter "Prinsu" in the search window, and both options will come up.

Did I miss a link for a substitution for the tie down eye nuts? Has anyone found a source for those?

Not sure where to ask this but has anyone shaved down the spacers in between the actual rack feet, and the roof of the car. The reason is I ask is I have a noticeable gap, and I think it would look and cut wind a little better with it soaked up to the cab closer. Just curious if its been done.

Anyone found other sources for the lock washers for the cross bar fixings? Jet.com have no stock of them

I think it is in the main Prinsu thread, but there are a few links at the bottom to different spacers with different heights.

Anybody have a source for stainless black oxide bolts/washers that mount the Cabrac to the roof? What size is that?

I found it at autozone. Came in a clear round package rolled up in like a 20' section with an orange label. It was like $12. Its the kind that already has the pressure activated glue inside of it. I used the same stuff to cover up the bumper panel trimming I had to do when installing my ARB bumper.
