I want to add a KTP-445U amp to my factory head unit to power some new component speakers in my front doors. I want to find a way to connect it to my head unit without cutting or splicing factory wires. I've seen people mention adapters/wiring harnesses, but it seems like these still require some cutting or splicing.

Is there an option that is truly plug and play for this amp?
If there is a plug and play option, will I have to run power from the battery to the amp?

If I remember correctly, there are two versions of that amp. One for splicing into factory wiring (or using with another aftermarket head unit), and the other version which supported plug and play with newer Alpine head units.
