Alright quick rundown of who I am. My name's Declan, I’m 17 and bought my Tacoma about 4 months back for my first truck. It’s higher mileage but has been meticulously maintained by the original owner who I bought it from. The stock headlights were a bit tired and it was time for an upgrade!

Here is my brief review of the AlphaRex pro series headlights. Before purchasing these I researched the heck out of them... or at least tried only to find that no one has actually reviewed them. Install was straight forward following Alpha Rex instructions online. Despite having factory DRL’s AlphaRex still provides a harness for you to wire in that connects to the battery and taps into your cabs Ignition Fuse. The halogen low beam is far brighter than the factory headlights and provides a sharp cutoff line. High beam is LED and shoots far. After washing my truck I haven’t seen any condensation and have had no issues with water in the headlights. I love the look of these with the DRL however the only problem I had is that the Pro series are only supposed to be a white DRL with a Amber sequential turn. Every once and a while they will be amber (which looks sweet) after unlocking and starting the truck. It doesn’t bother me as I really like the amber look. They still function correctly with the sequential turn, DRL, Parking lights, and High beam. I have reached out to AlphaRex and will update this post when I have heard back.

Overall super happy with the build quality, and performance. Time will tell with durability but I would definitely buy them again. Also... I ordered them from YotaMafia, a great company that is super easy to deal with. They were cheaper than anywhere else, delivered within a week and super helpful when shipping them up here to Canada!

I'll attach photos of them at night soon!

I paid $415 usd from Yota Mafia. Shipping was free within the US. So far after a couple weeks of owning them still super happy.

The DRL issue I mentioned was fixed as it only happens immediately after the battery is disconnected than resets itself.
Below is a picture of the low beam, far brighter than stock and a nice cutoff line. 20231228_182646.jpg
Parking lights (dimmed DRL) and normal white DRL

UPDATE: I've now been using these lights for over 3 months and am still super happy with them! Eventually I will swap the low beam out for an LED bulb in the projector but still super happy with the lights. They survived winter up here in Canada and have NEVER got water or condensation internally. The lense has a few small rock chips but nothing concerning. 2024030419013533.jpg
