AlphaRex LUXX series tail lights????

Hey, I just came across some older threads with people having problems with fitment issues concerning these tail lights. Has anyone had issues lately? I got some coming Monday. Did not know about this when I ordered them.

 

I don’t have any, but have read many times their quality is subpar. Hold on to your OEs.

 

I believe I am going to be sending them back. Any recommendations for good quality smoked tail lights?

 

no, I’d just stick w the OEs. Look at different years, there’s different models.

Thank you! This provides me with a little bit of relief. I see a lot of people on Tacoma forums installing these and have seen no posted issues. I’m thinking they had some quality issues in the past that the company addressed. They do have a two year warranty so I think I’m gonna run them. I like them better than anything I’ve seen.

 

Well I installed them. Fitment is perfect! They look awesome. I just hope they last.

I have not personally used them I like OEM myself but I hear they are very good quality. They’re pricey but you get what you pay for.

Yeah, when I get headlights, I’ll more than likely go with this brand.

I have a set of those Morimotos and they are expensive but look good and seem durable.

 

How long have you had them?

 

I've had a set on my truck since the pre-orders got delivered in March '22. No problems for me yet, and these come with a 5 year warranty.

Sorry I thought you have the headlights. That’s what I’m looking into. As to their durability and longevity.

 

Can't speak to that, but all Morimoto products meet OEM specifications and come with a 5 year warranty as far as I know.

 

At $1.3k for the morimotos, there is zero reason to buy headlights that are inferior to oem LEDs unless you’re one of those people that absolutely has to be different and feel special…

My truck came with halogens. I put aftermarket LEDs in them and I love the headlights. I’m just researching options. I like The sequential look. I kind of see my truck as a work of art and I’m trying to build a masterpiece. It’s an expensive hobby, but it brings me a lot of enjoyment. That’s all that matters.
