Anybody know how much weight you can carry in the bed of an 07 access cab TRD? I'm thinking of getting the one down below, but everything i see talks about towing...as in a trailer.
    Help please.

Sitcker inside drivers side door will tell you. Payload for your truck probably less than 1200 lbs and you need to include driver and passengers in that. So you'll be over GVWR almost for sure with a camper that size. But lots of people do it anyway.

Stock rear suspension will be riding the stops with that camper. You'll need air bags, timbrens or different leaf springs.

    Nailed it.

With my camper on stock springs I was just about on the bumpstops and I have a lightweight fibreglass camper (700 lbs). I added Timbren SES HD bumpstops (product ID: TOTUN4L) and the camper rode on the rubber bumpstops. That is a simple and effective solution, cost is under 200 bucks, and can install in the driveway in literally 15 minutes. Air bags will be better for levelling the truck out and will cost 300-450. A little more complicated but still a pretty easy self-install. I am now doing a full suspension upgrade with new shocks and springs (Old Man Emu) for a better quality ride but the Timbrens were all a fella needs if you're trying for a cheap and easy fix.

Ran this set up on my 2000 for quite a while, add a leaf and air bags leveled it out.
I did notice the weight, but never had a problem...

    Durrr!
I didn't think to look at the sticker
Thanks for the responses. The guy hasn't got back to me, so i dont know that it is going to happen.
I do still want to raise it up a bit though. I've heard lots about the bilstein 5100's. I'm thinking of picking up a set of them, so i can have 17" rims. Maybe adding a leaf at the same time, for extra capacity.

I'll be astonished if the one you pictured fits, as the F150 pickup bed is significantly wider than the tacoma bed.

"Pop up" style campers make a lot of sense for Tacomas.

The camper in the pic could be an "import" camper in a half ton truck sitting up on a platform. I saw that quite a bit when I was looking for my camper.

Good point though that it the camper isn't advertised as import size then you probably won't be able to fit it between the wheel wells anyway.
