You were just saying how dialed your quiver is. So because of that I'd say trip.
I recently did a ton of research and ended up with the Yakima. No complaints and it's very soft on the backside. I am usually only taking 1 or 2 bikes so I leave the tailgate handle flap tucked in for full time camera access. Easy on and off as needed, fits well, bikes have been secure.

Off to Asheville. Mrs. Bannerman was not pleased that I swiped her hitch rack off her T4R.

She’s got a nice rack! Ha ha talking about the bike rack of course.

Could potentially offset your tent on the bars and throw a tray style rack on the bars next to it in the future. Might look a little funky with the tent hanging off slightly but happy wife happy life eh? Haha

I’ve got roof trays. Doing some shuttles this weekend so wanted more space.

4 bikes and 4 people in a truck is enough. Don’t want you breathing your Covid on me.

The EVOC pad has a suede type backing, but it’s rubbing toward the bottom of the tailgate where the straps are. Three spots where each straps goes under and the seam rests on the paint. It’s not super noticeable, but it is scratched. Thought about putting a strip of clear bra at each point to stop it. I had a Dakine pad on my Tundra and when it would get wet, the dye would leave black spots on my white tailgate. This one did the same thing when it was new.

Side note... I went riding yesterday. A. My fitness is (still) in the shitter and 2. it's hot af down hurr.

Edit: was still totally worth it.

You need to swing through SLC to or from Huachuca and we can hash this out like men. First one to the bottom wins the throne.

So made my first official Bike Park trip yesterday. Rode Bryce in Basye, Va. I can see how they are addicting. Boy was it freaking fun. But I felt like I was cheating taking the lift. I’m used to pedaling for my downhill. I can also see how quickly someone can progress in a park. Start of the day I was barely hitting the jumps but the end of it I was clearing doubles no problem. But I did have one issue I need some assistance with. My hands. Oh god did my hands hurt. Like barely able to get the off the bars cause they were locked up. Any tips other than obviously not holding the bars so tight. I failed to bring anything to help with cramps so fail on my part.

Experiment with your brake lever orientation. What you are referring to is "arm pump"

Getting in the habit of opening/flexing my hands on smooth sections of the trail has helped me tremendously. But the stronger you are the less arm pump you'll have. In the last 6 months I've added dead hangs to the end of my gym routines. Just set a timer and hang for as long as you can. I can go for almost 2 min now. Kettlebells help too.

Nice! Bryce is a ton of fun!

as far as arm soreness goes, I like having the levers in as close to the bar as possible without feeling like I have no lever travel.

then also lever angle so your wrist isn’t in some awkward position. The angle that is comfortable on XC trails might not be good on steep trails haha. Depending on the person

A couple others hinted at it, but brake lever position matters. Specifically, I tilt mine up so that they're almost parallel with the ground for bike park days.

Also, try to take your finger(s) off the brake lever when you're on sections of trail that you know you won't be braking. You can grip the bar much more naturally with all four fingers. It was scary at first when someone suggested that to me, but it really does feel better.
