I just got the Firestone Destination All Terrains. Only driven on them about two days but I love the way they look.

    Just some to look into.

Welcome, and as for tires best for what? The longest lasting at tire right now is the toyo open country 2, and it's great for on street conditions if you only go off road sometimes. Imo whatever you go with there are better options than the 2 others mentioned.

I've been happy with BFG AT/KO and Cooper ATP/AT3.

My vote is for the Cooper AT2, AT3; always been happy with coopers tires! I've got 10k on mine with tons of tread left, and I am not easy on my tires! Snow, mud, ice, highway mileage, great all around tire! Currently running Cooper AT2 265/75/16.

For the money, I've found it hard to beat Hankook Dynapros. Got better than 50k out of my last set, and probably could have gotten another 10K if I hadn't gone past the number of plugs I feel comfortable with having in a set of tires at any given time (for some reason, screws keep finding my tires).

The CR auto issue listed the five best AT tires by whatever metrics they use; they were, in order:

    Hankook Dynapro ATM
    Goodyear Wrangler AT Adventure w/Kevlar
    Michelin LTX A/T2
    Cooper Discoverer A/TW
    Falken Wildpeak A/T01

Knowing CR, I doubt very much in the way of serious offroading went into that analysis, but I'd be interested in hearing any other opinions about that ranking...

Good Year Wrangler Duratrac or the NEW BFG AT KO2 not the old KO's they SUUUUUUCK!!!!!
Stay stock size or very close to it so you do not have rubbing issues.
Tires have different load ranges as well. S then C then D then E
    S being the lowest rating
    C being the most efficient
D being slightly heavier and in some cases tougher internal sidewall
E being the heaviest duty version designed for large heavy trucks and towing.

P265/75/16 Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10s were the absolute worst tire I've ever had on any vehicle. 7 months of problems with 6 tires (initial set and 2 replacements) didn't fix my constant vibration issues and after talking to 4 independent shops locally, they all said Hankook makes a low quality truck tire and that they don't even order them on request. Cooper was suggested as a quality option (ATP/AT3) for small additional expense and immediately caused my issues to disappear.

I know many have Hankook and like them, but that was the worst mistake I've ever made. Maybe in LT ratings they're vastly improved, but never again for me.

Little bit of hum with both my Hankook and Cooper ATs but can only notice it without a radio on it conversation taking place. It's pretty minimal.

Welcome to the forum! Without knowing what your driving intentions are, it is difficult to give a tire recommendation. Do you plan on taking your truck off road? (I see you have a Pre-runner) Are you looking for just an aggressive looking tire? What attributes are important to you?

After tons of research, the new KO2 is what I purchased for daily driver and occasional weekend warrior airing down in the mountains off-road. If you have 17" wheels you can run 265/70/17 which are relatively light at 45lbs. The 16" wheel version is E-load and a fair amount heavier at 53lbs.

Duratracs (though not my personal favorite) look very aggressive and are reasonably priced, come in a C-load tire at 265/75/16 at 45lbs, though are not great in the rain in my experience.

Do not get the original KOs, those were awful if you took your truck off road IMO.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
    Cooper ATP.
Fairly quiet on the road and they're great in the rain. Plus they're great for light-moderate offroading.

    OME 3" lift MK6 wheels 285 Fierce MTs & 4.88s!!
I have Fierce Attitudes and would buy another set, if I needed them. They look very aggressive while having great road manners. Very happy with them.
