All black fender flares

I have afew questions:

1. Where can I find a set of 4 oem OR fender flares?
2. Could I just sand the painted ones down to the plastic to get black?
3. If I can do 2, how would you recommend I do it for best results?

 

1. I believe I saw a thread around here dedicated to finding flares for 3rd gens.

2. If it's anything like the FJs plastic fender material, I feel like sanding it down would make it look beat up (not the good kind of way)

3. You mean if you only put on two flares? Then you're giving off pre-runner vibes

Keep an eye on on the buy sell trade or see if someone wants to trade cement for black.

I'm on the same boat as OP, so I'm interested in how one would acquire them easier than the normal method. The dealership is too much $$$ but if you have it go ahead.

I've attached a link to a cheaper alternative to the fender fiasco then dawns us SR Tacos. They aren't the best looking but it looks similar to the real thing.

These appear to be the parts you need. Feel free to take the part numbers and shop around if needed.

I believe there are flare gaskets too, but yours should have those since you have a sport.
