Alignment shop for SPC UCAs - NJ,NY, PA

Any good techs in the tristate area?

I see its around $750 on their site. I'll see what their install + alignment quote is.

 

There should be a post in here from me asking about a place in North Jersey for an alignment after a lift and a shop near Parsippany was recommended IIRC.

 

There is a shop I have my rig at right now in Mahwah NJ, right on the NY boarder.(Ron’s auto) It’s a one man show, and the guy has a done a lot of offroad type alignments for the shop down the street (total performance)
I have SPCs and asked him to push it allll the way forward on the bottom and even thinking about going to the E setting up top depending on what it needs after the lowers are pushed forward.
Should get it this week, I’ll report back when I do.

 

I found that most alignment shops did not touch them because they did not have a socket large enough. I know, crazy but I started taking a socket with me and explaining how it is adjustable with the tech and that helped a lot. Just FYI.

 

I'm glad I saw this. I'm only 20 minutes away and know the offroad shop there (Total Performance) and never thought to ask who they recommend. My cousin works at a shop right around the corner. Now I know who to go to after I do my lift.

 

So, I would no longer reccomend Ron’s Auto in mahwah.. he took forever and the alignment was not good.
I got a reference from a friend @Roody for Little Bear Alignment in Buchanan NY (westchester county) and I just picked my rig back up from them and it’s driving amazing. The owner guy Bernie knows his freakin shit and they did an amazing job! Highly reccomend. He knows allllll about SPC uppers and doing alignments on our lifted rigs.

 

Good to know. Hoping to do a set of BilstIeins set for maybe a 1.75" lift in the coming weeks. Early birthday present to myself.

 

Hell yeah, that's great. Glad to hear it worked out. Little Bear has done work for me and my friends on various vehicles over the last few decades and it's always solid. They got my old 4th gen 4Runner with no sway bars and worn everything to track straight.

 

@JDUB-Fabrication I sent you a PM with a couple of questions.

 

I’ve since discovered The Custom Shop in Astoria, Queens. They stock SPC’s and adjust them often. I might take it to them, seem to have lots of good reviews.

 

TCS did the work on my GX. Brett and his crew are great. Had him on my podcast a bit back, too:

 

I had an OME kit with SPC control arms aligned at ETD Discount tire in Denville but that was in 2015. They did a great job and cost about $130 then.

I’m about to install a new kit soon and keep the spc’s on. I’m going to try OK4WD this time because I am in that area more often. I called them and they said they could do it. Cost there is $154.

I can post if I’m happy with their work but it will be a couple months before I get around to installing the new lift.

 

They are one of the best shops in the world, not just NJ. That is a simple install for them I wouldn’t be concerned at all.
