Well, I never thought it was possible, but Firestone managed to make my alignment worse twice in a row then what it was previously.

Does anyone know of any reputable alignment shops in Tucson that can fix this?

Bonus points for a shop that can do a shock rebuild+other general work.

I’ll post a picture of what they specd it to in a bit once a get back home for your viewing pleasure

Thanks, I think I’ve seen their website when I was looking a few weeks ago. I’ll definitely check them out

No problem man did you check if Firestone messed up your cam tabs?

I haven’t checked yet but it’s definitely a possibility. I’ll have to take a look this weekend once I get a bit of free time.

For your viewing pleasure. Alignment 1 had them try and fix a slight left pull to the left. They ended up reducing my caster after I told them to leave it between 3.5-4. Truck still pulled to the left afterwards

Alignment 2 told, I told them to adjust the caster back and fix the pull to the left. Guy at the stop said this was the best he could get it.

I’m not entirely ruling out some suspension or other issue that could be causing the overall issue, but I’ll be damned if they could mess it up this bad.
Luckily I haven’t had to drive the truck much but it pulls like crazy to the left now. I’m taking it to trail boss next week to see if they can clean up this mess

I heard really good things from Jack Furriers on Ina. Zona Motorsports can help you out with everything else. In fact ask him which alignment shop he uses.

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from trail boss. I have had 2 friends that he tried to rip off. One he only installed 50% of the parts that were paid for, the other was after a rear diff they built and screwed up, along with not installing the double drilled yoke that was paid for.

I have had good luck with other vehicles at TCR II on speedway.

I appreciate the feedback from both of you. I’ll take a look at the other two shops as well and see if I can’t get something lined up. Definitely looking for a reputable place since an alignment isn’t the only thing I’ll be getting done in the near future

I'm in the same boat. This has been an age-old issue in Tucson forever. I've lost count of the number of places I've been that I would never go back.
    - Furriers is a roll of the dice; just depends on who is assigned to your vehicle. Those I know who have used them required multiple trips to get something satisfactory.
    - Trail Boss specializes in Jeep.
    - TCR II on speedway is an unknown to me ...

theluharlifestyle, did you find anyone to perform your alignment ...properly? This is one of those things that I cannot do myself, and can't find anyone to spend the same amount of effort dialing it in that I would.

Maybe we need to open up a Toyota shop out here!!

I’m still scheduled in next Tuesday at trail boss so we will see how it goes. I’ll be driving the truck to SoCal the week after so if I need to get it cleaned up I’ll have it penciled somewhere there.

Correction: I was wrong about reviews for Trail Boss; I confused it with another shop. Sorry. I am going to edit my post and remove the "reviews" part.
If you have time theluharlifestyle please post you experience with Trail Boss; thank you.

I went to TCR II when it was on 22nd and they did a great job. Dan and another guy there ran a Class 7 Toyota P/U and always had rails and buggies in the shop. Then it closed/moved and those guys are gone and I've not been to the Speedway location. The 4' lifted airbrushed F250s out front aren't speaking my language.

I had my alignment done at Big O after I got my SPC uppers on and they did alright - no driving issues, but they messed with the lower cams more than I would have liked. Similar situation to using Furriers.

On my way to pick up my truck from trail boss right now actually. So they had an issue with their alignment machine and aren’t getting parts in for a couple days. But they took it to a neighboring shop since I needed to get it done and will be traveling this weekend. Will keep y’all updated.

I appreciate the heads-up on their alignment machine, theluharlifestyle. I will call before I head there Friday. "None of my business" is an understandable response, but I'll ask anyway ...what did they $tap you? I'm also interested in the caster numbers. The last shop I used set caster at 2.8*L and 3.1*R. They basically refused to push it out more. And, this was with just a 3/8" spacer on top of the coilovers. I really want to be at 4+. The spacer is gone and I'm now running Eibach Pro with just under two inches of lift. Also have Ironman UCAs which should provide an additional 2*, at minimum.

Just got back. I forgot to ask what shop they subbed it out to. But it drives MUCH better.

$160 for the subbed out work. Trail boss would charge less. I would have waited but needed it done sooner rather than later so I was okay eating the cost.

The owner was the one talking to me, he said if I’m not happy with it then to bring it back in and he’ll sort it out on their machine. They have no problem working to get it to whatever alignment specs you want.

They also got a loaner machine that they are testing out this week so that’s probably why they are going to be able to get you in on Friday.

Overall a decent experience, they seem like they want to do right by the customer. I’d give them my business again based on this experience.
