    The camper alone probably costs as much as the truck. People that build those rigs on credit (not saying that guy did) blow my mind.

    This weekend is check the crossover tube for a coolant leak, and take out my 3.5° axle shims. Might attempt to find a coil spring compressor and adjust my coilover as well. Your always welcome at my place Jeff. If your bored on saturday your more than welcome.

    Even if it’s 60 between the truck and the camper, I’m not seeing another 40 in there. He didn’t mess with the engine. Didn’t mention regearing (but surely he did).

    Good lord. The camper cost more than truck. Wow. Even so, I’m not seeing 30k. Maybe the install was very expensive. It seems like a pretty bad investment. I mean, I understand wanting to live a nomadic life of travel and recreation. I’m
    not knocking his life choices, but I think he could have executed those choices better. If he’s in an accident there’s no way his insurance company is giving him 100k for his truck.

    Made it home from my adventure in 1 piece Tuesday evening. Lots of miles in a couple days! The 4runner did good! 2,794 actual miles for this trip. Hope to do it again except cut it in half and with a uhaul. It is so beautiful there! The wedding was held at a massive house! Did not get to many pictures but here are a few.

    Well this disturbance is getting its act together....

    From AlabamaWX
    Satellite images indicate that the area of disturbed weather over
    the central and southeastern Bahamas is gradually becoming better
    organized while surface pressures are falling in the area.
    Conditions are becoming favorable for a tropical depression or a
    tropical storm to form within the next day or so as the system moves
    toward the northwest through the northwestern Bahamas and toward
    the Florida Peninsula at 5 to 10 mph. If this development trend
    continues Potential Tropical Cyclone advisories will likely be
    initiated later today. This disturbance will bring heavy rainfall
    and gusty winds across portions of the Bahamas through Friday,
    especially in portions of the northwestern Bahamas affected by
    Hurricane Dorian. An Air Force Reserve reconnaissance aircraft is
    scheduled to investigate the system this afternoon, if necessary.
    * Formation chance through 48 hours…high…70 percent.
    * Formation chance through 5 days…high…80 percent.

    STILL HOT: A strong upper ridge is across the Southeast U.S… and that feature will keep Alabama unseasonably hot through tomorrow with highs in the mid 90s. The sky will be partly to mostly sunny, and any afternoon showers or thunderstorms should be few in number. The average high for September 12 at Birmingham is 86; the record high is 100 set in 1927.

    SATURDAY AND BEYOND: We will bring in a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds. Odds of any one spot getting wet are about one in three, with most of showers coming during the afternoon and evening hours. The high Saturday will be in the 88-91 degree range
