I got my first rifle when I was 7 years old. An H&R single shot .22 and I still have that rifle to this day. I became deadly with that rifle and squirrels, rabbits, coons and possums walked our property no more! I thought everyone from Alabama toted a gun as well. Carried an M4 and M9 when I was a medic in the Army and have been a gun nut since young. I carry a ruger gp100 or a glock 19 for daily carry. You owe it to yourself and family to become intimate with your weapon of choice. I personally keep an 870 Marine Magnum behind the headboard, when my wife keeps a .357 in her night stand table. Shoot what you feel comfortable and a handgun is just to fight your way to a long gun. I'm no expert, but I do have close to 40 years of fireams handling, classes, military and practice.

So all of us that were violated last night have a joint police report filed. Apparently it was 4 houses in the neighborhood that had their vehicles gone through. There were a group of kids caught a couple weeks ago doing the same stuff. I'm assuming its another group similar to them.

Had a rash of those in our area as well a while back. Thankfully they seemed to never have gotten all the way back to my house. Or the locked truck kept them out, who knows.

Yeah he was. I hunted him for 3 seasons in a row. I had him on camera for years, but never saw him during daylight hours. Finally, during the peak of the rut, I caught him slipping, chasing two does about 80 yards in front of my stand. The 45-70 put the smackdown on him!

Yeah, the locked truck is the key to this one.

Their family will be there suing because you killed their budding scientist. Alabama is a sue happy state (there is no no-fault insurance here) and ask me how I know. I got off lucky after bitch claimed no injuries in a minor traffic bender but went running right to her doctor the next day. GEICO said if they want more than we can pay they will take you to civil court.

Also consider they might be scoping out your house for another run. Can be others on here scoping out potential targets that we will never know are lurking. Glad I have a garage I can keep my vehicle in.

Surveillance goes a long ways in court as well. You can't drive down my street, without your tag number being on camera.... We have a pool and keep both entry gates padlocked. Also a camera in our backyard just in case one of the neighborhood kids decides to jump the locked gate, get in the pool and drown. This way, their parents can't come sue us for not keeping our gates locked.

Sawed off (legal registered destructive device) double barreled (14" barrels) 12 gauge with #1 buckshot! Not too bad on neighbors houses.

In other news where I "think" I am educated enough to talk about and not be called out on, we start our new daycare April 1st. Yesterday was a shitty stressful day with an even more stressed/emotional/borderline irrational wife. Damn sure glad that's over and didn't last longer than a day.

That is a stripper clip where rounds were inserted through the top. Magazine was still on bottom.

I am not going to shoot you with bird shot (you will get sued by a survivor). If I have made up my mind that I have to use a weapon it will be to kill.

Totally agree. A real challenge to try and connect for 3 years (lots of cold mornings in tree stands).
