Before I get jumped and told to search...... I've looked and nothing answered my question clearly. I have a srs/airbag light on the P/o said he replaced the clock spring but never reset the light.... I can read the codes I get b1801 and b1811 I clear them and they come right back. Shows the codes current and in history... Here's the kicker everything online well 98% say clock spring but my steering wheel controls, horn, and cruise all work!!!! I also read it may have sent a hard code to the control module and that it may need to be reset....? But most of the posts on resetting the module are due to an accident not a clock spring. Can anyone share some light on this. The dealer want $320 for a new clock spring. Thanks in advance (fyi I hate dash lights)

Do your blinkers work? There is a fuse in the cabin fuse box that when blown will make the airbag light pop up. And your turn signals wont work.

Have you checked the sensors under the seats?

When my spiral cable went bad, only symptoms were random dash lights coning on, one of which was the airbag light. Everything else worked... Except the airbag... when I got in an accident it didn't deploy. Personally, I glad it didn't, lol. Cars and trucks get 'totalled' by insurance all the time when airbags go off in minor accidents. I had it replaced under recall after the accident.

That’s what I read if you get a cheap one it might not work..... I’m gonna look online and try to find a oem one for a better deal then my local Toyota sells it for. Its $320 and they need to order it

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Mine was a bad left impact sensor (mounted on the front bumper reinforcement)

The guy I bought it from just txt me back and said it was a aftermarket clock spring not a oem one

Funny you say that it wasn’t plugged in all the way all when I got the truck.... I plugged it all the way in and it still wouldn’t clear... he did txt me again and say the light was not on till after he replace it ... he replace it cause the horn didn’t work and when he did the light came on and he used a cheap $50 eBay one

Check TacomaWorld posts, alot of people had trouble with cheapo's. If your going to change the cable I'd buy OEM. You should be able to order one for cheaper than that.
