Got the 10k mile maintenance done a few weeks ago and now the airbag light will turn on and stay on longer than the other dash lights. No check engine light/codes. Is this normal? I've already disconnected and reconnected the battery and nothing changed.

Do u have anything in your passenger seat when u start . It might be trying to detect the passenger . As long as it goes out u should be good it’s doing a system check .

I believe the car has up to 10 seconds to check SRS systems. Almost every car the airbag light is the last to turn off. As long as it turns off the system is operating normally. SRS stuff either fails or they work. There’s no “it’s slow to turn off there’s something wrong”. You mind is definitely playing tricks on you. Something probably drew you to look at the light and your OCD kicked in. I used to be the same way when I owned my Subaru.
