    Stock ... for now
A few weeks ago I was dropping my daughter off at school. As I was getting back in the truck my phone fell out of my pocket and down beneath the drivers side seat. So I reached up under there and fished it out.

A little bit later driving to work I noticed the airbag light on the dash was on. Putting 2 and 2 together I figured I jarred something loose when I had my hand under there. When I got home I looked up under there with a flashlight and saw ... well. Pic is included. One of the sensor wires is completely snapped!

So what's the best way to fix this? I don't really like the idea of driving around with no airbags. I figure I'm gonna have to take the seat out to get to it probably. I can't tell if it's on the seat side or the truck side. Can I get that plug just by itself or will I need an entire new harness and sensor? Is which one is cheaper or easier?

I would just repin it. You can remove the pin out from the plug cut it and install a new end on the wire and reinstall back into the pigtail

Anyone have any update or experience repinning this plug?

that particular plug is just the seat position sensor that tells the srs ecu if you have passed a threshold in proximity to the steering wheel. And that harness is on the seat itself, not the floor/ECU side. You can probably see if you can find the part# and replace the harness, or go to a junkyard and nab one.

I’m not actually sure what specific terminals that connector uses but you could in theory give the wire some slack and repin it.

Hey man I’m having the same issue with the pins. I can find some very similar to it but not exactly. Do you happen to have a type or part # for the actual pin that isn’t crimped? My connector is fine and plenty of wire as well.
