Hi All. Have seen lots of mixed messages on the value and benefit of a throttle body spacer. I've got a 2019 Taco TRD Pro with a TRD CAI. Can anyone verify the improved torque, throttle response and mid-range power, ideally with an Airaid TBS? Thanks in advance!

If there was a easy and cheap way to add more performance I'm betting the manufacturers would have done it themselves.

save your $$$ and just go get the YW or KDMax-Pro Tune. Done until you want the Magnuson SC - which YW is developing a much better Tune for than Maggy will drop on you.

Throttle body spacers only work if you have throttle body fuel injection, otherwise save your money.

I run one on my Tacoma and I will say it gave a slight increase of power on mid rpms and high rpms

BS. Our engine guy did dyno pulls trying multiple type throttle body spacers on a mulit-port injected engine sometime back...0 gains. If the spacer was manufactured with a helix type bore, all that was created was a whistling sound similar to what you'd hear from a supercharger that can make big mental hp.
To get any gains using a throttle body spacer, it would need to have a fuel mixture being pulled through it, not just air.

So I will totally agree with you if it is all you add to your truck and nothing else . Now if you combine with multiple bolt ons I disagree . From what I built over the years and one adding a throttle body spacer gave me a better experience with our V6 . Now I'm sure your gonna fire back and argue . But it's my opinion and my experience and that I back it 100% with my experience not data . I still keep 20 to 19 mpgs on the hwy with a weight of close to 5500 lbs stock gears rolling on 315/75/16 . What's next we gonna argue how headers on our V6 is snake oil too. I'm glad they are not popular cause then the price would rise on these snake oil products. Oh I'm sure you have great argument how running premium is a waste of money too . FML maybe my Blackstone lab results telling me that my engine looks great with 5k mi oil change intervals with over 153k mi is a bunch of bull too .

Hi all. Thanks for the responses. Doesn’t ‘sound’ like it’s worth it. Appreciate the help.

Depends what you call add on's. Stuff like headers will add hp. Throttle body spacer no.

They're worth it if you drill a hole in it and mount a water\meth injection nozzle in them. Perfect for that. Otherwise, it's pointless.
