    Hello!

Long time lurker and first time posting. I just bought a second gen Tacoma and noticed the air box is missing a clip. Does anyone know where to find these clips at? Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the reply and looking up the Dorman clips!

I’m afraid you’re right on having to scour salvage yards. The one I went to today there was nothing left of the Tacoma haha.

I went to Toyota and they only sell the whole assembly. It’s crazy they don’t make replacement clips!

I really would prefer to drill holes and use zip ties as a last ditch effort. Do you think it’s a big deal to only use one clip for now?

    Would these work?
Just saw that they’re dorman, wasn’t meaning to be redundant.

You’ll want two clips to seal the lid properly. I found a set on Amazon. Check the measurements.
Keyword: ‘Car Air Filter Cleaner Housing Box Lid Spring Clip Clamp for Car, 2PCS’. Also try eBay.
