As I always do, I did a search but can't find an answer to my specific question.

My 2022 OFF ROAD wheels have a +25 offset. In the entire wheels aftermarket, I can count on one hand the number of wheels I can find with the same offset. It looks like a 0 offset gives me the widest range of choices. My dilemma is, I like the flush with the fender flare look the stock set of wheels and tires has. A 0 offset is going to push them out just under an inch.

So, has anyone else found this wheel offset issue as tough as I do? In regards to the look you want? Meaning, did anyone want to keep that flush look but had to settle for your wheels/tires to go out slightly past the fender?

This is irrelevant to my question but I want to stick with a 16" wheel and am pretty sure these are the ones I want.

You are in the minority with your interest which is why you are having a hard time finding what you are looking for. That is compounded by the problem that most wheels are multi-fit and a +25 won't fit on every application with that bolt pattern. Honestly, am surprised that you found a hand full with that offset. I'm thinking there are some that are in the +5 range, but you are not really talking a lot of difference. An inch and a half isn't a whole lot. You could jack up on side, unbolt and pull your wheels out to the edge of the studs to see if you will notice that much difference. I am running negative 10mm with 285s. It slings mud that it didn't when it was stock.

    Oh look, another mod....

I have a TRD OR, and I have KMC wheels. The wheels I have are a 16 x 8 0MM offset , and they're mounted on the OEM tires. Here's how they look.

Your stock wheels have a 25mm offset but they are 7" wide, correct? Make sure that extra 1/2" of wheel width on the inboard side isn't going to be a problem if you go to 8" (ie watch the backspacing)

Yes 7", but there's about 3/4's of an inch clearance now. So I'm thinking the 0 offset will push it out about an inch keeping that clearance roughly the same. And one of the criteria I inputted into the search on a couple different aftermarket sellers was, no rub. Hopefully they are correct.

Yea my bad for some reason I read your post as you were trying to stay with +25 offset. I have 17x 8.5 KMCs at 0 offset so if you run an 8” you should poke 1/4” less than these. I have room at 8.5 back there so at 8 you should be fine. Hope
    Pic helps.

You'll be in perfect shape with that wheel if you stick to a 265/75/16 tire. I'm running a 16x8 0mm with that size tire and they come out to the edge nicely. I'm likely going to do the same wheel or maybe have to bump to a 17 to do the Trek version like I put on my wife's RAV4 recently. I really like the look of the design but they only do the 17x8 0mm.

btw... @JJ6453 Where or when did you get that screen grab on the Terra. I'm looking now and the don't seem to offer a 16"?

They were they were on there website yesterday but the screen shot is from an aftermarket company. I hope after finally nailing it done to one wheel, I'll have to start over.

Gotcha! I bought my Treks from Rimsoutlet.com after shopping the bajeezus out of it. I'm looking at the site right now. If I could get a 16" Trek, I'd buy right now. I'm looking at Canyons, Terra, Summits. I want the gray tint like on my wife's rig. Pure black is bitchin right up till you get 15' feet away, then the entire wheel becomes featureless. I need it to be "Bro" approved from 50' feet at least!

Yeah, the 16X8 Terra's are backordered, 6 weeks out. :( I'm not in a huge rush myself so am going to stick with them. I love the look of them and really want to stick with that size.

Who will you order through? Just curious so I can shop around again. I just did some "what-if" looks on KMC's site and they add $100 shipping plus state tax. Rimsoutlet.com still looks decent with their numbers but I'd like to look around. My tire shop (Big Brand) doesn't even mess with 'em. I've come to be friends with the manager through many transactions and I gave him a killer deal on my Gen 3 OEM wheels and he just tells me go buy online and we'll put them on for you carefully!

I am also looking at going to an aftermarket wheel, 16x8, 0 offset, 265 75 r16 Toyo open country at3s.
I have a factory 1 inch lift so I think clearance, besides possibly the front mudflaps, shouldn't be an issue.
One of the things I love about my new taco is how well it handles, tracks straight as an arrow with the Toyos mounted on the factory 16x7, +4 offset wheels.
Going to an aftermarket wheel, can I expect the truck to wander with the additional 16 mil outward poke from stock? I'm hoping I wont be altering the factory scrub radius too much.
