    Hi all,

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but I had a question in regards to my 2016 Tacoma. In a nutshell, someone tapped the right side of my bumper in a parking lot. I noticed it when I got home unfortunately. What's a good, affordable replacement bumper I can get for my 3rd gen? Doesn't have to be anything fancy, really.

Do you want a steel/offroad bumper?

I'd prefer black since my Taco is black, but I wouldn't mind a steel bumper if the price is right :)

Well, most coatings for them are black. Look around TW. I'm looking for one now just to replace the plastic bumper. I like SOS offroad concepts rear bumper but something($$$)is a little tight right now!

I just bought a Fab Fours Premium Rear bumper for the exact same reason as you. It's steel, thinking about getting a front too! Here's the link for the rear:
    http://fabfours.com/product/premium-rear-bumper-14/

    Bought it from here:
    http://bumpersuperstore.com/c-1207171-toyota-tacoma-bumper-toyota-tacoma-2016-2017.html

It's in the bed of my truck right now - they just delivered it to my work addy today.

Anyone else try a fab fours rear bumper?? I watched a you-tube vid of a the same bumper on a 2nd gen and it looks pretty easy but I won't know until I try ....

I like that your able to keep your tow hitch below the license plate and not hidden. I know that's the point of clearance plated bumpers, but I tow more than I go offroad!

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    Holy block lift, batman!

Yeah, literally the point of a high clearance bumper is to remove that big exit-angle ruining piece of steel.

I went with the fab fours for price, availability and to get rid of the 3 plastic pieces they called a rear bumper. I do like the relentless and may switch to their high clearance rear bumper down the road but I am happy with the fab fours.

I like the Fab Fours. How was mounting it up? Pretty simple? I've looked at both their rears, just can't decide.....

I just ordered the Fab Four rear bumper for the same reason as the OP, along with some new tail lights since one got cracked open. No body work though, which is lucky. Going on next Tuesday, so I'll get pics of it all shiny and new when I can! Also planning on matching the front when I have the money.
