Up close a nice looking tire. In my area the Michelin MS 2 is being replaced with the Defender at $214-224 a tire. The $160 figure with excellent tread life is appealing. I believe the 245/70/17 size is within .019 of my original 265/65/17 Toyo A30 P rated tires. The Toyo's have served me very well but I have no snow and very little rain. Off road for me will be dusty trail camping. I am a light duty truck user for sure. Cost, road handling, tire life and lighter weight with a mileage improvement is where my head is at.

I have purchased a set FN FX Pro wheels in gray from Dustin the owner of FN wheels. What a great experience! We many great after market wheel choices for our likes and needs. It's great. Dustin's product line, business model, experience and customer service are First Class. I am very happy with the purchase from Dustin and can't wait to get them on the truck.

What to put on the great looking FX wheels is the question. I have good experiences with BFGoodrich and Michelin and want to do justice to my Tacoma and now FN wheels.

Thanks Babyon5 for throwing this tire out there. Its been awhile on this posting. Any real life Tacoma World experience on this one ?
Thoughts on doing justice to the FN's and great little pickup ?
