Mods: I posted this in the buy/sell/trade and can't delete it. Sorry about that!!!!!

    ****************************************************************
I know, right? Strange trade, but I have another truck - 2012 GMC Sierra Crew.

Anywho, the numbers were just too good and I made the mistake of test driving a GR86 and couldn't get the grin off my face. My truck info is in my signature line and they gave me right at 40K for it and didn't jack the price of the GR86 (premium) up either. I was out the door right at 35K after taxes, destination, docs, etc.....

Amazing to me still that I got way more for my truck than I owed, but I only had it about 13 months and it had 13.5K miles on it.

Great time here. Go test drive a GR.....holy crap. You'll thank me (or make fun of me) later.

I bet the GR86 is fun! If I had the right road conditions for a sports car, I'd get one.

Well as an owner of 2022 GR I can tell you one thing, watch the oil level... It would burn 1QT every 3.5K miles and it was considered "Normal" got rid of it after 30K miles. Fun to drive, lots of rattle, next time I'll go with Miata. Same thing is happening with my buddy's 2023 GR, burning 1QT after 4K miles or so.

0-60 in 6.1 seconds? Maybe the real world times are quicker than advertised.

Yeah I'm not 0-60 guy anyway, but it's faster than the last three ND Miatas I had. Even though it's in break in and I'm keeping it below 4K rpm, I can tell it's got a lot more grunt.

I decided to sell my GR86 to be rid of the monthly payment, but I miss it terribly. That is the absolute best car I can think of for the money. I will have another one when they get cheap enough used for me to pay cash outright for one.FB_IMG_1708456027137.jpg

See, that's the roads I'm talking about. I live in the city with traffic and lots of big trucks.

My dealer has a red one on the lot now.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
I had older version, Scion FRS.
Was 6speed, tuned. Not great on straight line acceleration but was a LOT of fun in corners. I sold it for that reason. Was gonna get me in trouble zipping around winding back roads. Do miss it sometimes.

I have some parts still if anyone wants a deal. LOL. Homelink mirror kit, HID kit, few different exhausts, ...

Man, at least post a pic!

Enjoy your new sports car though! I found the manual GR86 fun to drive, coming from a former S2000 owner

Went with Steel. The last three vehicles I've owned have been gray. I'm grayed out. Saw the dark blue, nice but looked purple in bright sun. Black....not going there - beautiful for 30 seconds after you wash. Never owned silver, so giving it a shot. I think it looks classy.

TOO FUNNY.....Went out to the garage this afternoon (right at five hours after I drove it) and my GR is making the VERY SAME buzzing sound my Tacoma did - the fuel system pressure test or whatever that is that it does automatically. Freaked me out the first time I heard the Tacoma doing that. LOL!

i love the 86. but it's horrible for truck things.

that's why i keep both around. more of a yin/yang thing.

Enjoy! The Wife has a BRZ. You can just throw these cars around corners, super agile.
