Adding Courtesy lights

Can I add these Meso Customs courtesy lights instead of the basic red lense. Does anyone know if we have a wiring harness behind those door covers?

installed these, super easy. took less than 30 seconds. Just a heads up these come in a pack of 4, the 4th gen tacoma only needs 2. i split the cost with another truck.

 

So there is a wiring harness? Did you take off the door cover? Or just popped the lenses and found a harness. I just have the red lenses but no lights.

 

yup all wiring is included, just pop off existing lights with a flat head, unplug, plug in new lights, pop back in. no need to pop door covers off.

P.S. Neither video shows connector to door lamp...

 

I don't have lights now. I just have red covers.

 

oh you know what i didn't realize there were trims without lights. my came with existing so it was just plug and play. but it looks like from the video posted above there is a plug ^, the solar octane taco had the red lens aswell.

 

I have to open it sometime and see if there is wiring there before I buy those lights

 

I opened the door cover today. Unfortunately, there are no wires and plug back there

 

Taco and Tundra guys should buddy up when buying this.

OP, remove the speaker and check for a "nipple" that may be there to add a wire(s) on the door boot.
