Just curious if anybody has looked into getting the TRD-OR pitch/roll sensors/display added to a TRD Sport or SR5 or if it's even possible?

I didn't really look at the SR5 models. Do they have the same dash set up with that center screen between your tach and speedo? If you guys have that, it seems like it would be a matter of software programming.

I just dont know how you would manage updating that. I'd imagine that'd not accessible without some serious hacking.

Its one of those "show off" features that you get excited to show passengers.

I love it! I use it when off road...mostly for shits and giggles, but its cool to have.

Yeah that's really all I'd like it for, curiosity when off-roading.

Would much prefer it than seeing the horrible instantaneous fuel economy bar!

I like it offroading to make sure I'm not on the upper angle roll bounds. More because of the fact that I haven't found a way to disable the side air bags and I know those have a tendency of going off in the past if the angle changes too much, even if you are experienced enough to know you won't roll your vehicle, to prep for a side rollover.

Anyone know how to disable the side air bags without pulling fuses?

Amazon has a version of this that isn't vehicle specific. Can be mounted on the dash..

How is the FJ version attached to the dash?

Incorrect. My Sport has it, and it can be displayed on the dash computer. Yours probably has it, too.

Correct - we got manuals you got an automatic.

I know this cause you got the long box and me and Daryl got the short.

No tpms on manuals. Trust me I was disappointed when I signed the papers, got to the truck and realized I didn't have a set button by my clutch pedal, but then my after thought was why do I want a yellow triangle of doom illuminated every time I air down my tires ( well not yet atleast cause I haven't upgraded tires but down the road)

Huh. Bizarre. Several of my manual BMWs had TPMS... can't imagine why Toyota didn't include them.

This may be one of those odd things Toyota did for the Canadian market. My 2016 TRD Sport 6M/T has it. I believe the U.S. has required TPMS of some form to be included in all new vehicles (under a certain GVWR) sold here after 2007.

The clinometer in the OR is fucking worthless. Don't bother. It measures in 10-degree increments and is hardly accurate.

Does anyone with an OR actually think the clinometer is worth a damn?
